Og Mandino does it again. It has been a while since reading my last book of his. This book, “The Choice”, does not disappoint. This was hard to put down and I read it in two days. What a story!! The underlying message is simple and is delivered in the book in the most powerful way. Seeing the main character live out this message of choice over and over again in the pages of the book and watching his life change provides a beautiful feeling of belief in self. I adored the book and I know that you will, too.

I almost stopped reading this book because I was looking for a guide rather than a story. However, the summary of the story is a guide - a guide to a shift in perspective. Life can be a monotonous, constant struggle in the eyes of one and a gift with endless possibilities to another. Each individual is given the opportunity of life, but what they make of it is a matter of perspective. I'm glad I gave this book the chance it deserves

I know that this book was read by a lot of people in sales, but it’s a great book on making hard choices to fulfill your calling. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of following a path that is financial rewarding and career enhancing, but a better path takes into consideration your family and your true calling

This is the 2nd book I've read by this author, and I've been greatly inspired by both. Mr. Mandino is an amazing writer! He's able to weave important insights throughout his fictional tales, and keeps the reader on their toes - not wanting to the put the book down until it's finished. The overall gist of this book is that we all have choices re: what we do, how we do it, and how we react to the circumstances we find ourselves in - and it's these choices (sometimes seemingly mudane) that determine the life we live today, as well as our potential future. This seems to be a concept that many of us have forgotten - we do, in fact, have choices! It's up to us to choose wisely, and to correct the choices we're not happy with. But, either way, we must take responsibility for whatever our choices are - and where they lead us. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in changing any part of their life, as well as those trying to help others to understand the impact of their choices - this book provides a wonderful story to share with those who are currently struggling.

Og Mandino's sytle is easy to read and easy to grasp. He is understated and yet the message is profound. He doesn't cram the message to the reader, but takes them on a journey and let's the reader figure it out along the way. Looking for an easy to understand yet life changing message? Get this and ENJOY!

This is my favorite book and to find it in great shape for $5 or so was a great find. Bought one for each of my boys and my management team. Delivery was prompt and the books were gently used but still in overall good shape. I rarely buy new books when I can get them in almost as good shape for 90% less!

I have read all of Og's books. This book is a follow up to "The World's Greatest Salesman." It talks about the struggles of writing the first book and the great success that resulted when it was published. It talks about quitting a successful career and going off into the Northeast to write a book. It talks about the effect that big change had on his wife and children. It talks about his self doubts and his personal struggles during the lean times and then the different problems that he had when he suddenly became rich and famous. He makes a very good case for how each of us has choices in the way we can life our lives. The choices come along each day in many small ways. You just never can predict what will happen as a result of each small choice. It is a thought provoking book.

Very interesting reading! A lovely story of life that offer that something extra that cannot be found in other books!

Great entertaining book and moving. I first read The Greatest Salesman and now I'm reading Og's other books. Can't believe I'd never heard of him since I've been reading and acting on info like this for decades. Would highly recommend this if you want no nonsense principles to give you the right mindset for success. Whatever that means to you.

I'm a huge fan of Mr Og and will always be. His insights for a better life now are shunned and replaced by a cancel culture. Without writings such as these I'm afraid the world is in for more than we ever bargained for.
