BIG help for shin splints!
I bought these for my 12 year old daughter suffering from horrible shin splints. She's been a multi-sport athlete for years (soccer, basketball, volleyball) but with a big growth spurt this year her body has been out of sorts and the icing on the cake was the meanest shin splints ever. The muscle on the outside of both shinbones felt like train tracks, all ridged and bumpy. She even developed a knot on the inside of one shinbone about the size of a ping-pong ball. We RICEd and massaged her like crazy and rested her a few weeks, but she was too restless to keep still for long. She'd been doing physical therapy with the athletic trainers at her school and when they felt she was ready to return to sports they tried taping her up in all different ways but nothing really helped. I was kind of grasping at straws trying to find some relief for her and came across compression sleeves in a sporting goods store. The one I saw didn't seem like a very good quality pair (just looked like shin guard sleeves) so I did some research and found that Zensah's sounded like the most therapeutic one on the market. I took a chance and bought a pair for her. At this point, I didn't really care that they costed about $20 per sleeve (sold separately, not in pairs...just so you know), I just wanted some relief for her.And guess what? They worked. They SO TOTALLY worked for her. It's amazing, really. She barely even complains about her shins now. She wears the sleeves during training sessions and games (sometimes she has two sports back to back) and for 20-30 minutes afterwards. We haven't been icing her as much but we still massage her and the muscles are finally getting back to normal. She no longer hobbles like her grandma after athletics, yay! I don't want to tout this as a "miracle product for all" because not everyone may experience the same outcome, but I have to say...it was a miracle product for my daughter. She makes sure to pack them with her gear every day for sports or PE class. Thank you, Zensah, for a quality product that gave my daughter relief from her shin pain...what a godsend!!!

Cured my shin splints
Fit fantastic (5'9 Relatively normal sized legs and i purchased a medium) and SAVED me from horribly painful shin splints that simply would not go away. My shin splints were bad enough to even ache when resting and not even on my feet, i was ready to see a sports doctor to make sure i didn't have any stress fractures but after sometime off running and soccer/similar sports and wearing these to simply keep them warm and improve blood flow worked wonders. After a few weeks and returning to my first game i wore them and felt no pain whatsoever. Compression is great too, fitting very snug and feels almost wrapped, but not too tight as to stop blood flow or be uncomfortable.

Zensah calf /shin sleeve
I was torn about what to buy when it came to calf guards, I couldn't find any relevant reviews that made me feel confident in spending the money on them. I was having shin splint pain and some calf cramping issues, so the first thing I did was buy a new pair of properly fit shoes from my local running shop, next I figured I would give a calf guard a try. I bought the Zensah Calf Shin compression sleeve and the 2XU non stirrup compression calf guard. Both products worked excellent at providing support and while wearing them I haven't had any calf cramping at all. My shin pain is reduced as well. I wear them after a run and they really leave my legs feeling much better. Now the differences, the Zensah product is a knit fabric and the 2XU is a spandex type product, the Zensahs are more comfortable and feel more substantial I have noticed more people on race day wearing the Zensah product but in my experience either product will do, it is just a mater of preference to a knit or spandex product,

Doesn't really feel like its doing anything at all.
It is lightweight and comfortable, but because it doesn't really feel like its doing anything at all. Its like having a tight sock over your shin. I have extremely severe shin splints and this felt like nothing at all when I tried it on, definitely felt like it wouldn't do anything helpful, so I returned it. Disclaimer is that I guess I didn't actually try the product but it feels REALLY useless.

Great compression sleeves - helped my shin splints
I am by no means a "runner" but since my doctor said I had to get in more cardio, I thought I'd give running a try. Me and running have a sad history - always ending abruptly with painful shin splints. I found these great looking compressions sleeves and they got such good reviews - I had to get them . Generally, I think they work. I haven't had shin splints come back! The material is think and feels durable. The styling is awesome - great colors and i like the ribbing design. My only complaint - and it's probably my fault is that you need to pay attention if you're buying a sleeve or a pair of sleeves. I mistakenly bought one sleeve and was quite upset. I've bought other cheaper compression sleeves on Groupon. These are still my favorite. The other ones I bought are thinner and feel like they are made of swimsuit material.

Had my doubts at first, bought a second pair after trying them...
I've never been a fan of compressive clothing, and honestly I never thought it could actually work. About 8 months ago, I increased my training load too fast, was pushing too hard, and a combination of that and innapropriate shoes, ended up with shin splints, almost not being able to walk. Stopped training for two whole months, and felt the pain was gone, so I went for a fast walk and a short run, and the pain started again. So decided to try these, a bit skeptical at first, but I have to say it has helped A LOT with the problem. Even after long runs, with compression sleeves I have had no signs of pain. Pretty easy to use, to wash, just get them dirty and throw them in the washing machine. I have two pair of these, so each pair gets washed about 1.5 times a week, and they still look as new, no sign of wear at least until now after 5 months. The only downside to this product, is that it might not stay in place all the time, and you might have to stop to adjust the position of the sleeves. Overall a very good product.

Very pleased. Good quality and the medium is a nice comfortable fit on my guy who is 5'6, about 150lbs. He thought the medium was tight at first so we got him a large, he went back to wearing the medium ever since trying both.

Helped me.
I suffer from shinsplints when walking long distances on pavement or in certain footwear. This product has helped to eliminate that issue for me. Works great in preventing them and for lessening their effect after the fact if I've forgotten to put them on before hand. Would recommend to anyone who suffers from shinsplints.
