Brass Round Bottle P Trap, Basin Sink Waste Trap Drain Tube Kit Adjustable Height, Brushed Nickel Finished

Seemed pricy to me at first but since we don’t have something concealing our trap we needed something a little prettier. And this is beautiful. It was a little tricky to install as a few of the parts were different than a normal p trap. But I’m new at this and I still figured it out. Could have used some instructions but you can still just eyeball it and figure it out. One tip: I had trouble getting the plug that fits into the wall to fit in my pipe. The end of my pipe had a threaded fitting on the end for my old p trap to screw onto. That had a slightly smaller diameter making it impossible to get the plug and the pipe to fit into the feed in the wall. I couldn’t get the fitting out so I used my Dremel tool to bore out the fitting so the plug would fit. After that everything was pretty easy. Also, this might be obvious, but for this piece to work, your drain from your sink needs to be lined up with the feed into the wall. I didn’t realize that and mine is off by a couple inches. I was able to make it work but it’s not ideal and probably frowned upon by real plumbers. Last thing, note that in the picture, I have a different decorative flange on the wall. The hole in the wall is huge - too big for the flange that came in this kit. But that was on me.

This is a quality product, nice finish, feels solid, not cheap. I did not end up using it for my pedestal sink because I could use a regular P-trap and it was hidden behind the pedestal, so you would not even see the cool bottle design. I returned it with no problem.

This bottle trap was really easy to install. The main bottle trap body is heavy and stout. It looks great. The horizontal slip pipe is a little thin but does the job. Please note in many US states, bottle traps are actually not code approved. So check your local plumbing code.

P trap was a bit short for my bathroom but was easy to install. The quality is great. Just make sure you measure properly

This is a nicely made bottle trap with a clean modern look. Easily as solid and well made as any I've seen and at a very good price.

Esthetcally designed. Brass and stainless steel materials so corrosion should not be an issue. I would recommend to use silicon lubricant on all threads. It will pay off few years down the road when you will have to take it apart to clean it.

Had this sitting around too long to return it since the plumber says it does not fit my sink.. said it was for fancy bowl basins not my standard white wash basin. Really disappointing and expensive since plumber charges for the trip. Check with your plumber before you order.

For a p trap this is nice, however the ad makes it seem as if you have all you need. There is no actual drain to attach it to your sink, so be aware that you need to either buy a new drain or use your old one. We found this out at the last second as we tried to a quick replacement before a party. So not ideal. Wish I had known this when I bought it, as I bought new sink, faucet, everything...I would have added the drain piece in at the time.
