Great for a two week trip to Japan
Picked this option for ease of movement when traveling to Japan. Does fit under the seats on JAL, is easy to move through the airports, walking through the streets, and even on public transport. The material is like any other suitcase, durable and can last when moving through and traveling. The pockets and storage options in this suitcase made it easier to pack for a two-week-long trip to Japan (packed four days' worth of clothes during the April-May timeframe). This has a strap on the back, which makes it easy to put on top of another checked suitcase when traveling.

Small and Mighty!
I purchased two of these for a trip. One for my son and one for myself in black. I specifically wanted a spinner that would go in the overhead bin or under the seat and this little Samsonite was the ideal choice. For this trip, I used totes that went over the handle for the under seat personal item and slipped the spinner easily in the overhead bin. No struggles lifting it or wrestling to make it fit, which keeps the boarding process moving efficiently and is appreciated by the flight crew and other passengers. This little spinner is well-made with the high quality fabric and construction one expects from Samsonite. But the real surprise was how functional it is. It held clothes for a 5-day trip without using packing cubes. It held a pair of jeans, lounging pants, 2 pairs of shorts, 5 t-shirts, socks, underwear, tennis shoes and a hoodie sweat shirt with no bulging! The side pocket has a handy USB port that held the power cell and cords for my laptop. The interior pocket designed for electronics is sized to fit a tablet, but there was still room in between clothes to safely store my lap top. It's extremely light when unpacked, but even when packed, it still feels light and manageable. It rolls beautifully and the handle adjusts to the height needed for pulling or walking it at your side. My only concern is the handle feels loose and wobbly, as others have noted. But it held up fine. After putting this little spinner through the paces, I'm confident I can travel comfortably with ease. It may be small, but it's mighty! Thanks Samsonite!

Small enough and inexpensive
It's been over three years since I purchased any sort of luggage (think pandemic). I had sticker shock. Companies selling $500+ carry-on bags. At a department store, the "exclusive to us" colours could make a person sick and all the Zero-Halliburton-wana-be cases made of shiny plastic. So I had to give up and go online searching. This is an inexpensive bag.... it will do. I am not a frequent/business traveler. I have purchased Samsonite over the years and had good luck with them. This bag stacks onto my Samsonite 24" check-in bag nicely with a wide strap on the back. Carry straps instead of a handle is a set back.... but I will get used to them. The USB thing seems silly to me. It has a good size main compartment with a pad/laptop sleeve.... only a few pre-determined organizing sections in the front pouch. I wanted a carry-on case for an international flight on Air France (each company has it's own maximum dimensions and weight restrictions and this carrier has the most restrictive 21.65"h x 13.77"w x 9.84"d). This bag meets the width and depth and it's only 17" high (this includes the wheels). Hoping this will be a go-to bag for future business trips. UPDATE JAN/23: Returned from two week trip to Paris. I've upped my review to 5 stars. This carry-on easily fits into the overhead compartment and meets restrictive Air France dimensions. It stood up to packing and handling. It could be mounted on top of a larger check-in Samsonite bag walking into the airport, then used with the extended handle around the airport, helping to carry a personal bag or jackets to the plane. (No stink-eye from other passengers or flight attendants.) The padded sleeve is really meant for an iPad. A MacBook Air 13" could be squeezed in, but even then it's a tight fit. It's designed to be used vertically, the floppy handles allow for opening the main compartment without spilling everything out. The mesh bags inside are perfect for power adapters, snacks, headphones, things like that. I appreciated the front zippered section with organizing slots and a zippered one for my car keys. I learned how to use it on this first trip.... it works and I feel it's a good purchase.... (the USB thing is still silly)

Definitely did not disappoint!
I love this under the seat bag, where it stores perfectly as a personal item. I have used it 2 times for flights and cruises. It is very durable. The zippers are very secure and it looks great. I especially love the four spinner wheels! Also it sits perfectly on the handle of my luggage. You can use it for any day travel!

A Solid Choice For An Underseater with One Small Drawback...
I compared the American Tourister 4Kix with the Samsonite Underseat Spinner (this bag) and Verage Underseat Spinner 14” plus. The Samsonite Underseat Spinner was midline in price and size. The purple color is a muted plum. This Samsonite bag is a nice bag, overall. The pull handle felt sturdy and the bag was easy to manuever when full. I stuffed it to the brim and it maintained it's shape. The spinner wheels felt rubbery; however were not the double wheel type that seems to be preferred on underseaters. The Samsonite is on the left in the front view & on the far right in the overhead view (pictures). I love that the material and zippers seem durable. I am not a fan of the floppy canvas web carry handles; which seem like you may have to "chase' them if in a rush. Not really a deal breaker but, something to note. The handles also fasten together using a snap closure. The snap was stiff and difficult to open/close. Perhaps it loosens up with time. You can check the specs online, but my rough inner measurements: 14.5” tall, 12” wide and 7.5-7.75” deep. The main negative for this bag is the computer sleeve. It's handy to have but, is also sewn in at the bottom edge, with snaps connecting the top sides. It would have been great if they have made it completely removeable. This bag held a good amount of clothing. It held almost as much as the American Tourister 4Kix; The water shoes, snorkel and one swimsuit fit in the American Tourister but, I had to leave them out of this bag. I was able to fit to following in the main compartment, without overpacking and distorting the shape of the bag: 8 shirts, 2 long pants, 1 jeans, 5 shorts, 2 dresses, 2 out of 3 swimsuits, 1 coverup, 6 underwear, 3 pair of socks, 2 pair of shoes (flat sandals, 2.5” heeled sandals), 1 hat, 1 makeup bag, 1 mask. *as mentioned above the water shoes, snorkel and one swimsuit did not fit I’m very satisfied with my first impressions of durability, packing capacity, size and maneuverability. This is a nice solid bag that will fit most uses.

Weekend Getaways
I love this underseat spinner. I have not tried it on an airplane yet, but great for a weekend getaway. The wheels work great and love that all 4 spin/roll. It seams to fit quite a bit of clothes in it even though it is small in size. And I just love the purple color!

Lightweight, compact, roomy, four spinner wheeler.
I travel frequently with my laptop and accessories in either a carry-on tote or backpack. Though it can weigh 9 -14 lbs, which isn't bad at first, it can take a toll on your shoulder or back if you're walking from gate to gate in large airports. Thus, looking for a compact, wheeled carry-on that can hopefully fit under the seat in front of me. I usually have to work during flights, so easily getting to my laptop and accessories, are key. However, since I know this will depend on the airline and plane type, I plan on bringing a packable pouch for my laptop to put under the seat in front of me just in case I need to store this bag in the overhead bin. It arrived in a box from Samsonite, encased in a plastic bag with original tags. The material is nice and appears durable. It's lightweight, roomy, and has plenty of pockets. The side pocket can be used for charging but I plan to use it for my hydroflask. Not only was I able to pack all the items I usually have in my carryon, but had plenty of room to spare for my jacket/sweatshirt, scarf, and travel shoes. I like the four spinner wheels since I roll my bags next to me, not behind me. Thus, the other two wheeler underseat carry-on's would not work. So it's really your preference on how you roll 🤣 I will follow up with pics on how this works on my next flight. I totally understand and accept the fact that depending on the carrier and where I sit, such as the aisle or window, this may or may not fit under the seat in front of me. Thus, I'm prepared with the packable pouch for my laptop and will be fine placing this overhead. And since it's compact, it shouldn't be too heavy either. My ultimate goal is to mitigate back and shoulder pain moving forward. So if this does the trick, then it's golden. Samsonite does come with a guarantee so you might want to check into that as you compare other brands. In my experience, the zippers or the wheels, are the first to go so I appreciate that guarantee.

Decent small carryon but not my winning choice
I bought the Samsonite and two other underseat carry-on luggage pieces, each with four spinner wheels, and I compared them. Samsonite is a good piece but it did not win the competition. I travel a lot, and need a piece to count as my personal item, that slips over the handle and rests on top of my regular carry-on, and easily fits down the airplane aisle without bumping both sides. This Samsonite piece has an attached laptop sleeve in the main compartment that’s too small to hold most laptops and it can’t be removed, annoying. The sleeve will hold a 9.5” W by 10” H laptop, not very practical except for an iPad. The exterior main compartment zipper is rounded over the top of the case at an odd angle, and is not effective for packing. The two topside loose straps are too hard to grasp, too hard to snap, and are ineffective as a “handle.” The front pocket is flat and has no depth, and can only hold flat items, or else it bulges into the main compartment and takes up space from there. The interior packing space is 13 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches deep by 14 1/2 inches high ( maybe ~ 23L). On the good side, the fabric material seems good quality, as do the wheels. Samsonite is a good brand-name, and you can’t go wrong if the little details don’t bother you. I liked the blue color. Samsonite likely has the best quality and reliability. The deal breakers for me were the annoying attached internal laptop pouch, the loose topside straps instead of a handle, the smaller size, and the odd geometry of the main compartment zipper. I compared the Samsonite to the Hanke 16” underseat (too small comparatively), and the Tiawolt (which won the competition). Tiawolt won because it had the best design for maximum packing, efficient zipper design, a large versatile exterior pocket, two side pockets, good wheels, best space design overall, and approximately 30L packing space, the largest of all three. Quality remains to be seen after use; I purchased the three year warranty as protection.
