Review: A beautiful Bible for all ages and all reading levels - This is so beautiful. And itโs not only good for children to read abt the Bible but all age groups and reading levels as well. Iโm dyslexic and I had 2 strokes and Iโm an elderly woman. This book has helped me a lot with keeping up my Bible reading. Itโs very enjoyable. Granted itโs not in-depth as a regular Bible but it helps keep GODs word alive for all people. Review: Good for teaching. - This is the cutest children's Bible I have found. It has pictures with easy to understand stories and is a good teaching Bible for older adults with dementia. That was my goal with the bibles i bought. They love the bibles and especially like the pictures that help tell the story.

Perfect for my almost 4 year old! (And still great now that he's a first grader!)
I cannot speak highly enough of this children's bible. It is absolutely wonderful! It is well worth the price and a must-have for any preschooler. I have several Baby Bibles and Preschooler Devotion Books and neither one was accomplishing the task that I desired. The baby bibles were great when my son was 6 months - 2 years but I was bored reading them to him and there wasn't anything new for him to learn. He enjoys the devotion books but I don't think that they are enough bible training. So on a quest to teach my 3 year old (almost 4) more about the bible, I read lots of reviews on lots of kids bibles. I'm so glad I picked this one!! My son eagerly runs to his room every night at bedtime so that he can learn his next bible story. He is mesmerized with the pictures and asks lots of really good questions based on the illustrations. At first I was concerned that the stories were too short, but I think that the authors do a great job of packing a lot of truth into a short story. I don't think that a preschooler could handle much more. Even though he is able to sit still and listen to bedtime stories for a long time, these kind of stories are different because it challenges him to really think outside of what he is used to and a longer story would be too difficult to process. (Cain & Abel, Sodom & Gomorrah...those are strange new concepts for a little kid to process! But very valuable, I believe.) I often add extra details as we go along to help him understand the story and he asks lots of questions so the time we spend looking at the pictures and talking about the story is longer than just the time it takes to read the words on the page. He often wants to flip back to the map (which he loves!) or illustrations from previous stories as he works in his little mind to put together the timeline and connections between the stories. I love it and it makes me so thrilled to see how excited he is to learn about the bible. Each night we look ahead one story for a little spoiler on what is coming the next night and it seems to be enough to peak his curiosity so that he will be excited for the next story. I think that even a very young baby would like the illustrations in this book. The stories are definitely written for a 3-1/2 or 4 year old to understand (maybe earlier, depending on the kid). I don't know what age he will outgrow this, but I expect that it will be a favorite for a long time. With a night missed here or there it will probably take a full year for us to read through the whole book and I think that it could easily be read again when we're done. UPDATE: My son is now 6-1/2 and he reads this bible to himself. He still enjoys these bible stories every night. We have gone through the whole thing a few times over the past couple of years and he still loves it. We have a few others that we also like now that he's older, but he certainly hasn't outgrown this one yet. Highly recommend!

LOVE this children's bible. Worth every penny!
Great way to teach children about God. I have ordered a copy for all seven of my grandchildren and the children at my church. I use the beautiful illustrations along with the well done , simplified text when teaching Sunday School.. The cover and bindings are very durable and the pages are heavy enough to withstand many readings. I can not say enough about this wonderful children's bible.

Excellent
I was astonished at the quality and beautiful artwork. I would have expected to pay more. Includes all or most of the major stories and lessons in scripture. What better way to introduce a child to our Creator and savior than with images to accompany the words. If a parent is just being introduced to scripture it's especially great. Reading this to your child will introduce a parent and child to the word and stir interest while bonding with their child creating memories that form who a child will be as an adult. The hope is that all believe and except the gift of salvation. Not just a gift but a blessing. May the Lord bless these little seeds that they grow and produce fruit

Great version for children
Lovely pictures and quality paper. Slightly heavy. Good for the very young, once theyโre strong enough to carry it. Stories well written, so kids donโt get more information than their innocent minds need.

Great product
I was too much worried when buying this Bible, because of all kinds of bad reviews. But I decided to give a try because all children's Bibles had atleast some people giving very bad reviews, so I had to give it a blind-trial on something. It turns out, the trial was extremely successful. I bought it for my 1.5 month old. I read two pages daily for him. He listens to it attentively and looks at the pictures and gets excited and makes sounds as much as he can (yes, you heard it right: 7 weeks old baby!) Pros: 1) colorful prints and pictures. love them. 2) stories are short enough. They don't measure my babies' patience. They have carefully divided long stories into two or ten stories (eg the story of Moses and exodus) as seems suitable. I like that idea 3) It covers all major Bible stories. I can forsee my baby becoming well versed in all major Bible stories by the time he is seven or eight years of age, when he will graduate/transition from this 'child-Bible' to a 'full adult Bible'. What I like is that my baby will be able to use this Bible until about 10 or 11 years of age- so worth every dollar spent!! I also forsee myself reading this Bible for my upcoming children (not born yet:-). 4) I read complaints (and was very concerned) about them cutting short the stories abruptly and changing the stories. So far I have read about 30% of the whole book and I haven't encountered any stories stopping abruptly. Also I have realized one thing. who is using this? Obviously someone less than 10 years old. If and when your child becomes old enough to question about the logic of the story and finding out mistakes, if any, I guess that is the time to transition to a full adult Bible. Cons 1)The book is very heavy, which I should have expected. My hand hurts since I have to carry my baby and the book together. When my baby is old enough to sit on his own, the heaviness wont be a problem as I can rest the Bible on the floor and read it for him. As of now , if I keep it on the floor, my baby cannot look at the pictures, so I have to take it in my hands.
