I bought this because the door and a couple of windows let in chilly air and a bit of noise. I wanted a simple, cut to fit seal that could cover a large gap without a lot of fuss, and the 18 foot roll seemed like it would cover more than one spot.Applying it was straightforward. I cleaned the frames, peeled off the backing, and pressed it along the edge. It sticks well to wood and painted surfaces, and I was able to cut to size with scissors. The material stays flexible even when it gets colder, so it doesn’t crack or peel in winter.What stood out most is how well the design blocks drafts and softens noise. The perforated holes seem to help ease the door when it closes, so there is less slam and vibration. It also blocks light and wind more than I expected for a simple strip.One small caveat is that the adhesive needs a clean, dry surface and a smooth edge to hold best, so I prepped the frame a bit. The install is quick and straightforward, and the results are worth it. Overall, it earns five stars for reducing drafts with minimal effort.

It has a great adhesion along as you wipe the old door frame down. Good durometer. Fit was cut to size and perfect on three sides. I would but again

Unfortunately this adhesive seal was too thick for my needs. I would only recommend this for large door gaps, close to 1/2 inch. When I applied this, my door no longer shut properly and a larger gap was created.That being said, it came off without much hassle and appears to be very well made. I’m going to keep this on hand for other purposes around the house where it could be useful. If you have a large gap, I think this would be effective in reducing air flow and light leak around the door frame.

Better than expected! Solve a crack/gap in a door problem.

We live in an old house with drafty doors that never closed properly. I had tried weatherstripping sold in most hardware stores...you know the ones -- aluminum metal strips, with a very hard rubber edge, that you screw into the door frame and push against the door. These have always been difficult to adjust properly so that the door seals against them AND closes properly without having to slam it repeatedly. Also, if you have an old house where the door may not be perfectly square, its' difficult to adjust for the entire length of the door. THIS item, however, is awesome. The adhesive sticks very well, to all types of surfaces. The rubber is soft and squishy enough to compress when needed, and also fill larger gaps if you have weird, old, out-of-square doors like we do. I mostly stuck this around the door frame itself and NOT on my door, however in a few places the upper, or lower corner still had a small gap, so I stuck and additional 5 inch piece onto the door itself. I did find I had to adjust the strike plate on all doors, but it was very easy, as this soft weatherstripping is really forgiving. We can now open and close all our doors effortlessly and it's greatly sealed up every door. Highly highly recommend. Great product. I believe I ordered the white weatherstripping, and received black instead, but I'm actually glad. The black looks better.

We have tried different brands over the years and this one is TOPS. Very sticky and great shape to seal the door.So easy to apply. The last cold snap had cold air pouring through the side of the door. Thishas closed it. The types we tried in the past were too flat and did not seal completely. This D shapeis the best. It will pay for itself in the first week of heat savings. 5 STARS for sure.

Not sure why people are complaining about these not sticking. Once they are on they aren’t coming off. I’m a contractor and have I’ve used a dozen of them and they all worked great. You just need to make sure the surface is clean and smooth. Common sense.
