At a leisurely pace it took about an hour to assemble and the bundled instructions (FST16, 2018-02 / Stand:06.2018) correctly described the steps.As another reviewer remarked, the "upholstery" could benefit from being thicker, and the frame / supports can be felt, though if that bothers you a thick blanket or similar would do.No issues after using for six months, though I conjecture that when it eventually fails it will be due to1. the adjustable foot rest jamming; and/or2. the fabric becoming worn and/or dirty.Neither imo would justify buying an entire new chair; assuming the footrest sticking to be a remote risk, the more likely issue is the cover needing replacement; it would be good to see the seller offering separate replacement covers for purchase.

I made a rather simple and obvious mistake due to a) my stupidity, and b) a poor assembly guide.Instruction image 4 shows the cushion being placed on the frame. It SHOULD NOT. There is a zip at the rear of the cushion. Unzip and place the frame INSIDE the cover, making sure frame is correct way up and FRONT pointing to the way you sit. Ringlet alignment on cover and hole in frame a little fiddly to align with holes in wood, but not as bad as having to try to assemble it 3 times because of numptiness on my behalf and instruction author.

This chair is just what we needed, could do with better instructions for assembling though , took son around 45mins to get it right. But otherwise chair is good.

This is sturdy good quality easy to assemble and very comfortable. Lovely rock on it as well

Easy to put together, the cushion is very comfortable and I'm sat on it right now. I thought there would be more to it but it seems sturdy enough if you are gentle with it. One down, one to build. Very happy so far.

Had to buy another one so I could sit. Everyone visiting went straight to the rocking chair.
