Eight of these casters replaced 12 non-bearing poly-something 3" casters on a home made dolly type rig . The dolly is used to move a 2000 pound disk 15 ft out, turn 90 degrees and another 30 ft on a cement slab floor to mount the disk on a tractor. The final mount always requires a few inches of angular movement to line everything up to a three point hitch. Everything is moved by one person. The original setup was 20 years old and was getting more difficult to move - I chose to ignore the fact that I am approaching 70 years old. The new casters have bought myself another 10 years of moving the disk.Update: Just used the disk again today. I was between the tractor and the disk laden dolly, I pulled it toward me and it kept coming on it own. I have a level floor so I was able to stop it before it pinned me against the tractor. I did have this warning a few days before when I leaned against the disk while looking for something and it moved. I only updated this review to let you know that if you have other than a flat level floor you should consider at least a few locking casters.

put on platform of 30,000lb gantry works awesome

They are heaven duty but seemed way bigger in person.....we have them on a pump system the weighs about 1300lbs.....seem to be good afyer a month
