I have a few Shun knives and have slowly been filling my knife block with more. I’ve tried a few other higher end brands and decided I like Shun enough to be a repeat customer.I really wanted a carving set because I do a lot of roasts and foul on the green egg.Thanksgiving was my first use of this set and I was able to carve a 9lb bone in Rib roast with ease, rinsed it off and then carved the 12lb turkey.The Shun knife handled the curve of the rib removal on the roast easily, and the fork was strong enough to lift the roast onto the cutting board. Additionally cutting the prime rib was very easy and left beautiful slices with no marking.As for the turkey- The set handled the entire bird with no issues and left beautiful slices of breast meat.Other things to noteComes in a box you can store easilyMade in China, assembled in Japan
