We bought this as a stand by generator for the house and my office. Being diesel it runs a long time on a tank and is powerful enough to run the whole house [fridges central heating tv's etc] you can even boil a kettle.It simple straightforward and has a remote start facility- just need an electrician to wire in a changeover switch.A really good purchase- HIGHLY RECOMENDED
