Dr. WoodsGinger Citrus Bar Soap with Jojoba Oil & Organic Shea Butter, 5.25 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I am not too keen on getting Dr Bronners. This isn’t about Christianity… but I want to clarify why I went on a search for a really good Castile Soap. I am a Christian Believer but there is some real wonky stuff written on the label that isn’t what most of us Believe or even see in the Bible. So… not wanting to buy it and bring that into my house where people would be reading it, I wanted to search for Castile soap that was authentic and safe. Dr Woods is that. It is smells great and is effective.

This soap is really nice, not drying to the skin and it makes an excellent shampoo bar. I enjoy the scent a great deal. It is sort of like citronella or lemongrass. I like the formula of this soap, it doesn't get all slimy when it's wet and the bar lasts a good long time (also because it is larger than most soaps at 5.25 oz per bar.)

Dr. Woods makes really nice soap, and this Citrus Ginger bar is my favorite scent. The bar seems to last a decent amount of time. Plus, it will not dry your skin out... I used to have this listed as five stars, but I have since changed the review to four stars because the price has doubled/tripled as of recent. I am all for supporting a brand, but sometimes too much is too much. I have since found another all natural brand I like which is closer to Dr. Wood’s original price point; Amazon has a few good natural soaps listed, just check the ingredients and where they are made.

This does have some scent, but it's pretty pleasant and not too strong - and most importantly not perfume-like. It's a nice big bar and lathers well. I got the 6-pack on Prime so it's about $3 a bar all in - I consider it a good deal. I'll probably buy more when this runs out.

Smell of the bar is nice, but if you're looking for zesty citrus and spicy ginger, this isn't it. Might be my fault for expecting that, but when they call it "energizing," that's what I imagine. To me they took everything energizing out of citrus and ginger and left it with a weak, almost Fruit Loopy scent. I don't hate it, I'm just disappointed, and the smell doesn't stay on my skin anyway. A bar lasts me about 2 weeks, which isn't half bad. I've paid twice the price (going off $/oz.) for soap that lasted less time, but for practically the same price I can get Dr. Bronner's, Thayer's, or Watkins at the store that all last longer.

Great soap. It has a very nice and delicate smell.It sounds a little bit weird, but I do not how else to put it - the soap is very smooth and soft to touch wet or dry, without being slimy when wet.The soap is white, which I always like because white soaps does not leave a colorful residue on the tub or bathroom tiles. And this soap does not leave a residue at all.Overall using this soap it a very pleasant experience. I will buy it again

I love that the scent isn't overpowering, and I love that when it dries, it isn't mushy on the bottom nor stuck on the soap rack.

This soap has no scent. None. I purchased to get citrus scent. Also sniper slippery so drop a lot and makes bottom of shower slippery

Great texture and smell to the soap. Luxurious feel.
