Ok it works fantastic I’m so happy I bought its dif a great item. But you can’t adjust the vol with the iPod only with the unit you plug it into.

Works great, arrived quickly too.

Cheap fix to get 15 year old iPod music piped into my new kenwood head stereo unit in 20 year old new to me truck. Just used it on long trip exclusively almost enjoyed it so much listening to my fav old classics. It lives in truck now along with the old usb chord that can be used to charge it when not playing - plus only 2/5 battery used after 12 hours playing constantly in truck then charged in an hour on 120 v power. So aux input not charge is zero issue for me . Don’t waste your money on an extension chord like I did. It’s plenty long as is

UPDATE: Bought last year in June 2022 - it is now March 2023 and I noticed that starting in November or December 2022, I was jiggling the cord to get a better connection to my iPod (which caused no sound to come out of my car's left speaker). It progressed to the point that this cord no longer makes a connection on one side no matter how many times I jiggled it. Changed from 5 stars to 1 star since I can no longer use it.I still use my old dinosaur iPod because I have COMPLETE control over what I put on it (Spotify sucks). This auxiliary cord allows me to plug into my car stereo and listen to my iPod on the go. I can also use it to plug into ANY speaker, stereo, etc that accepts an auxiliary cord and play my iPod music and/or videos. I should've bought 2 (1 for the car and 1 for the house). I would recommend this to anyone who still uses the dinosaur iPod. ; )

It works good with my other iPods and iPhone but it won’t work with my video iPod classic.

Worked well for a little boom box hook up for an older iPod. Then just all the sudden stopped working

I can play music in my car with my 22 year old ipod with this cable. SO happy. I tried 2 other cables that looked the same but did not work. And because it was mentioned in other reviews, I have Bose speakers and it works great. also since it has been mentioned in other reviews this cable did work with Bose speakers,

It arrived quickly and works well

Terrible quality, super cheap materials.Connector is of such useless quality that it crunches when being inserted into the port. It has the potential to damage the port if used more than a few times.When in use, audio cuts out at the slightest movement of the cable, and creates a noticeable buzzing through speakers.It's basically just E-waste. Even if it was free, it would still be a bad deal.

Sounds like static played into a tin can. Would not recommend.
