Quality pens with a multitude of uses
These pens are a useful addition to the (ever growing) arsenal of artists materials.The obvious use is for adding highlights to your work, or maybe touching up mistakes when working on white paper, but I've also used them to create line drawings on coloured papers.The pens available include a bullet pen, which offers a consistent line, a brush pen which can put down a line of varied thickness depending on pressure, from hair width thin through to a broader stroke, and a calligraphy nib which, though not so useful for drawing, does exactly what you'd expect it to do.There's also a black fine liner which, although some have criticised its inclusion, is actually useful for touching up errors made with the white pen while working on black paper and, if working on mid tone papers using the white pens, is a great way to add shadow and texture. So, a worthy inclusion.The only criticism is that the white is sometimes a little more transparent than I'd like. However, that can be used to your advantage - you can layer applications to change the value throughout your drawing.

It's the first time I've bought these white pens. As expected, another quality product from Faber Castell. I've been using the black fine liner and brush pens for many years and love them. Initially the white pens don't seem very opaque, but once they have been used for a bit they improve. They are not really suitable for using to highlight on graphite drawings or over other powdery art materials as they mix and turn a muddy grey. They do give excellent results over alcohol markers, acrylic paint and on tinted or black papers.

Just what I needed
I have been looking for pens that I can use when doing drawing and painting to pop out the white areas of my art. I've tried multiple variants of gel pens but find them scratchy and often too dull to work. They also don't often lay down properly on some mediums.I saw this set when browsing for other products.I've used Faber Castell Black Pitt pens before and was very happy with them, so with this set including various types of white, with different nibs, it was worth trying. And I am glad I did. They work very well, will work great when creating highlights and adding good strong white lines etc onto your art. So far I've used them for my drawings and have been very pleased. I also paint and am sure these will work well when using on top of the acrylic medium I use most often.I am sure there are other brands out there that work as well (and as economically) as gel pens, but I'm just glad I found this set of Faber Castell pens. I would like to see more nib sizes though - so thinner nib sizes for even more intricate work.Highly recommend!

I've loved these, good line quality, and these make a pretty good white line in coloured paper.
Good quality white pens. I enjoyed the chisel tip pen most, and found it made a good white line on toned paper.

Product was as advertised. Package was well packed and no damage. Good quality in pens for all types of art projects.

Perfect solid white
Tried this pen over some watercolour last week and couldn’t have worked better. Was struggling to find a decent white pen as they either don’t do a solid white line when used or they don’t create a consistent line and can leave excess white ink. While the nibs on these aren’t super small, how well they work overshadows this.

Excellent pens
Recommended by a fellow quilter, I purchased these pens to sign my pieces. They are excellent for signing artwork. They glide as you write. Love them, and will purchase them again.

weinig dekkend
Alhoewel ik veel van de dingen die Faber-Castell maakt schitterend vindt, valt dit niet onder die noemer.De zwarte pen is goed, maar de witte zijn echt te weinig dekkend, het beste dat je eruit kan krijgen over zwart is een grijze kleur.Spijtig - indien je naar wit zoekt zijn Poska en Sakura Gelly Roll beter.
