Set of 8 OEM Motorcraft Platinum SP546 (SP515) HT15 Spark Plugs For Ford 5.4L

Replace my 5.4L 3v. Was so worried about the old plugs breaking in the head. Plugs came out without a hitch. Installed these new ones with nickled anti-seize. Hope in the future they will be just as easy to replace. Picture shown is old plugs.

2008 has two options for 5.4 and don't be like me and walk your cold bum out to the truck and check which coil pack boots you have (brown or black) because it matters!Black, you're good these are the plugs for you.Brown, you need SP-509 plugs and these won't work no matter how much Amazon says they will.If you're not sure what I'm talking about go shine a flashlight under the coil pack where you can see the boot color (probably easiest on the pass side front) that will determine the coil pack and plug you need. If it's crusty, wipe it to be sure of the color.

They come packaged like factory OEM spark plugs, but are definitely not true motorcraft plugs. As you can see from the photo the difference in material thickness on the electrode. I had 2 plugs out of the box that where bad. I had to purchase from local auto store. Then over the next week I replaced 2 more with ones I bought from local supply store. I then decided to replace the rest of the plugs with actual motorcraft plugs from local auto store. I am more than disappointed with this purchase and will not buy from this supplier again.
