The card cannot not be used through either the adaptor or a known good SDXC adaptor. It reads just fine through a SDXC card reader or the SDXC slot on the Surface Pro 6 on window 10 machines, not on XP machines. In terms of format, it can only go through quick format by using SDXC card reader. Full format of the has been achieved by connecting it to Surface Pro 6 through SDXC slot. It took 10 hours for a full format in comparison of less than 1 hour to do a full format on Sundisk 256GB . Further tests show that a good portion of the card cannot be used. Data can be wrote, but will be lost soon.
