They didn’t taste stale to me but they were a little dry. I heated mine up in the microwave for about 10 seconds and that helped.

What is the expiry date?

I cannot speak for other sellers but we ship “frozen fresh” with the maximum 35 days as recommended by the manufacturer. These can also be put in the freezer to extend the shelf life for up to a year.
