Following in the footsteps of Dickies original 874, the new 874F flex work pant is constructed with flex fabric for enhanced mobility and additional comfort. The poly/cotton fabric wicks moisture away from the skin to the exterior of the garment to help keep you feeling dry and features stain release while maintaining the quality and durability that you would expect from Dickies.

The size was small. This brand run much smaller in the waist than other jeans. Wear a 36” waist and had to buy a 40”.

Perfect Pair Pants
I've been wearing different brands of work pants for the past 29 years. being an auto mechanic i have worn various brands mainly from the different Uniform suppliers. G&K, Unifirst, Cintas. All are si miller in style and all fit inconsistently. Dickies once you know the sizing I have found to be extremely consistent. Dickies also have the best fit, not too loose and not too tight. Just enough room in the legs and thighs to make all day comfort in a variety of situations be it sitting, standing, bending or squatting.A few year back i picked up my first pair of Dickies, the original 874. The original is a bit heftier in material that the uniform company ones. The key to the original to get them soft and wearable right away is to soak them in a bucket of salt water for 24 to 48 hours and then give them a wash or two.It is equivilent to about 20 washes which is basically what it takes otherwise to have the Original soft. With the Flex 874 they feel weight wise somewhere between the thinner Un iform company style Red Kap, etc) and the Original 874. They feel like the original at about twenty washed, nice and soft right off the shelf. Flex is just right for this style as any more and you would probably be looking and feeling like you were wearing athleisure stretch pants. The Flex maintains the exact look of the Original and you absolutely can't tell the difference by looks. The difference comes in comfort level. these are so much better than the original and that is saying a lot because the original is good. Durability wise i am not concerned in the least. Even the cheaper Uniform company ones i rarely ever had more than a hole in a knee after maybe three years of indiustrial washing service. The key to Dickies is that they run literally two sizes small in the waist. length is spot on but waist you want to size up two sizes. I am normally a 31 waist and depending on time of year might be as low as 30 1/2 to 31 1/2 because 30's are almost always too tight and 32's are generally require a belt. Dickies in 32 became too tight, they feel like 30's. I switched to 33 in Dickies waist and they fit beautiful.

My PT son loves this pants for work
My son is a PT and he love this pants. He wears to work and said very comfy. He can bend, stoop and get into all sort of position in them and they are still comfortable. Very durable too. He said he will get more.

Pills quickly
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. The charcoal color pants pill badly after a few washes. I washed them inside out on delicate cold water and dried them on low heat. However they are comfortable and fit well.

Warm and comphy
I wanted sweat pants with pockets and WITHOUT the dreaded drawstring that is a PIA. These sweats feel snug when you first put them on, but then loosen up. They are super warm. I ordered the first pair to "try out", fell in love with them and promptly ordered a second pair! True to my size. Wish they came in navy blue as I am not a fan of the light colors. I ordered black that goes with everything. Take your measurements before you order and compare to the chart!

Cheap material, received damaged as well, not true to size
I just returned this item, and there are a lot of problems with this particular order which I received. First of all, I open the bag and the pants are in an opened bag from a previous order. The pants were in a ripped plastic bad addressed to someone else, and that someone else had opened that ripped bag with a razor blade and damaged the pants very badly. But the person in the store figured they would pass on these overpriced damaged and returned pants to the next schmo who orders them (me!) While the pants fit awesome around the waist and on the waist, the inseam was about 4 inches too long. a 32" inseam usually barely hits my ankles, these had to be cuffed ! ! ! They would have been returned even if they weren't received damage. Honestly, it's pretty bad practice for someone to knowingly send you a damaged item from a previous return, and still in the previous customers bag, smh. I am actually rethinking the way I use prime now.

Great work pants
Great quality and made to last, waist size is smaller then regular I would go two sizes larger but the length is perfect. These work great when getting dirty but also could be used for a special event to go with a dress shirt, I have had one pair for the last ten years and they still haven't faded or fell apart, well worth every penny
