Good retrofit slides
Used these to replace twenty year old "Euro style" rails on framed cabinets with the available back mount bracket. If there's a downside to using these as replacements is that there's a lot less tolerance for small differences in the rail mounting. Once I got them dialed in for my particular cabinets everything worked fine. Quality seems good for the price, but I can't compare the look of soft close mechanism to other brands so we'll see how long the pistons last. They are very smooth if you install them very accurately, however they are fairly "heavy" feeling in operation. It takes purposeful movement to open or close, which takes some getting used to over cheap resistance less slides. It also has a catch point where if you don't push the drawer back all the way it doesn't engage the soft close and finish closing the drawer. For retrofit slides in our older cabinets, these are good.

Solid drawer slides
Amazing products. Quite heavy-duty and works pretty smooth. Installation was easy and it's easy for DIY. Definitely will be buying more!

Okay, but 2 out of 20 units seem to have issues
I ordered 10 pairs to retrofit 10 drawers that had the simple Euro drawer slides. For the most part it went well. I read reviews and made sure to order better screws, and I'm glad I did. I had one instance where I thought "I'll just use the included screw here" and sure enough it snapped when screwing in. Cheap. I have problems with 2 of the slides (out of the 20 total... and not 2 on the same drawer but on different drawers) where the self-closing part of the slide does not fully "catch" when pulling out the drawer. I've fiddled with it every which way I could think of, adjusting the drawer left, right, inwards, outwards, etc. but it seems like unless the drawer part is pressed up pretty hard against the slider part, when pulling out the drawer, that plastic part does not catch the pin all the way. The end result is that one side of the drawer isn't set to pull it back closed, so you shut the drawer, one side catches and the springs start to pull it closed, but it's not strong enough on its own without it's buddy on the other side, so the drawer sticks out 1/4" or so and you have to manually close it. In one case when having this issue, I used a different slide and that fixed my problem, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't an issue with the install, being out of level or skewed to one side or another, I think it's just something wonky with the self-closing mechanism. Unfortunately I had these things sitting about a year before I finally got around to installing, so I don't know if it's worth trying to replace them (I won't bother). I need 7 more of these to finish my kitchen and I'll order something else, probably just replace these 2 problem drawer slides with a different make/model and call it good. Overall I'm happy with them, I just wish those 2 didn't have issues.

Use installation jig!!
These are great if you know how to install them. You HAVE to use a jig or you will be cussing a lot and for a long time. Using a simple jig that supports the guide at a 90 degree angle to the face makes the up and down location perfect, which eliminates any issues in that direction. I make my drawer boxes about 1/16 inch narrower than the opening because these guides do not allow any play room. If the box ends up slightly too narrow, I put thin cardboard behind the guide to bring it to perfect. I always use the mounting brackets because it makes it easy to adjust the sideways position so the drawer closes perfectly.

A great upgrade.
They work pretty good. A little tricky to install. You can purchase a set of draw fixtures that hold the draw in position to make the job easy. I would not attempt to install the slides without the fixtures. Slides are made well and work well. I donโt know how well they will hold up but they are very sturdy and do not see a problem. A great way to upgrade your draws.

Left side fails and prevents drawer from closing
Iโve bought several of these Lontan soft close including 20โ and 22โ. I just installed 6 pairs of the 22โ ones kitchen drawers this weekend and 3 of ones on left side failed. They would work 5 or 6 times and then when pulled the left side spring device would not fully extend and lock so when Iโd close it and it would stop 1/2โ or so from closing. Itโs only on the left so something in their design is flawed. Both sides are the same part they just flip flop so left and right are upside down from each other by their design. If I manually extend and lock the spring it would continue to work a few times and then do it again which makes absolutely no sense. Even without the slide installed on the drawer box and just in the track the spring fails to extend and lock after a few successful attempts it fails which again makes no sense whatsoever it should work or not work. After this install one of the 20โ Lontan ones failed on my island drawers which I installed 6 months ago. With that said Iโm pretty sure at some point they will all fail and sooner than later.

Great product
Renovated our kitchen a few years ago but the one item I still needed were slow closing draws. I purchased this based on reviews and the product did not disappoint. My husband installed them within an hour and the draws feel heavier with these slides...you can feel that when you pull them open. This product is fabulous, especially the price.

Same quality as the big company
I ordered 30 of the 24โโ and 20 of the 14โโ. When I received them I checked them all for quality of assembly and to see if the soft close worked properly. Everything was perfect and well lubricated. The little pin for the soft close is metal. Iโm glad I bought them.

I got the plastic soft close.
The plastic soft close mechanism broke before installation was finished. I was VERY careful. But the plastic just failed. The product description said it had been upgraded with metal. But this is NOT TRUE.
