I was suprised that the mat was not shaped with elastic or straps to hold it in place on the ironing board, but after I sewed some on to it, it is a very good board cover. The item description should mention that, but overall it is an excellent product

I bought this for ironing on a stone top surface. I have no complaints with the thickness or quality of the mat. It is perfect for this use.

Good product

Product is not apt for ironing .Considerable heat is conducted to the table surface, enough to ruin the plywood or surface material. Also there is condensation at the bottom of the sheet. You need to keep a thick sheet under the ironing mat which will become wet after ironing.

Decent size, could have been a little bigger for my choice wider and lengthier by another 1/2 feet.Definitely retains heat better than without having it under the press. I did notice that the bottom was less hotter when using it. How much it saves energy I can't say, but definetly protects the surface which are sensitive to high temperature.Durability is something I can't comment.Costly but serves the purpose well. Overall 4 stars.

Purpose served well

This product serves its purpose more than expected, the iron heat is trapped by the aluminum sheet & isn't transferred to the bottom of the cloth which gives a better ironing Experience, just Go for it.The silicon Iron pad is an added benefit.if you are looking for something convenient to iron your clothes, This is it.
