I can’t speak to the effectiveness yet because I just sprayed it the other night, however I can say that some of the other reviews about how wretchedly toxic this is seem a bit (read: very) exaggerated. My original plan—after putting on all of my PPE, opening every window in the apartment in the middle of winter, and turning on every fan I own, based on what other reviewers said—was to just spray my brand new wool rug in order to prevent carpet beetles (my friend had them and it was disgusting, so I’m paranoid). Once I started spraying and basically smelled NOTHING, I started spraying more of the apartment (in I’m Manhattan and I’ve seen the occasional critter in this building...), which then turned into spraying every thing/place I could possibly imagine might harbor a bug one day. I should add that I have two younggggg children, so I did some Googling somewhere along the way and checked out the ACTUAL toxicity (to humans) based on ACTUAL research and this product is totally fine and nowhere close to as “dangerous” as everyone is panicking about. Unless you’re a bug. I hope. Note: I have no pets, just kids, so I can’t speak to that. I’ll update if anything substantial happens due to my use of this product, but don’t hold your breath!

I have used this product for years with excellent results. It is very effective and the least toxic of insecticides. It will kill bees so don't spray in the open air. When it is wet it is toxic to cats, but fine after it drys. Just use good judgement when applying and you will be fine. We use it primarily for fleas and wool moths and it really works well.

The scent is cedar so it’s not like smelling bug spray. It works amazingly well - my Mom used this stuff and it’s great. I spray around my garage door, around the doorways into the house, I’ve even used it outside around the base perimeter of the house. It’s amazing….and it works!

We've been spraying a tufted leather sofa for 4 months now. It killed larvae and we find dead moths but it did not get rid of them completely. We stopped spraying a month ago, we've inspected our sofa and still find larvae and dead moths but we stopped spraying because a unpleasant chemical smell still exists plus sitting close to it causes our chest to ache. We are not spraying anymore. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to get rid of the chemical smell?

This spray really works! Eliminates moths from rugs etc.

Every 3 months we spray this product to avoid moths, bugs and spiders in our home and in the summer we spray our storage rooms outside to keeps wasps away from nesting inside. This product works excellent and it’s delivered in excellent condition.
