the lids came in faster then expected, packaged very well nice and clean. they where nicely painted, mounts of original lid fit in perfectly and sound good i will be upgrading to the dual 6x9 on each side.

I was a bit hesitant about purchasing the lids because of the price. However, I was surprised that they are well made and it took about 30 minutes to swap the stock lids. The only complaint is the speaker basket. It’s way too small for high end speakers because of the size of the magnet. I had to cut them out. Other than that, it’s a good buy. Also, you’ll need to drill holes for the latches. It was easy to do.

They work great. Speakers had to modify a little nothing big. Paint scratches easy. For the product it's a great price and would order agai.

Before I had 2013 roadglide with 8 in speaker/lids. Now I have a new 2022 roadglide special and wanted to try something different, so went with 6x9.. with prices high on everything I decided to give these a shot to save some $ and spend little more on speakers. These lids are fantastic, everything lined up perfectly, putting the speakers in was a challenge on few of the screws, but some times you have to adapt with aftermarket stuff..not a big deal with going to Ace. The only thing I dont like is the small opening for sound to come out. You have a 6x9 but a 5x7 opening..sound comes straight up, which wife loves. But for the price I even had them painted to match and still saved.

The lids look great they fit the bike great. THEY DO NOT FIT 6X9 SPEAKERS. Had to make adaptor plates to be able to even mouth the speakers. Then have to trim quite a bit of the latch assembly. Then they cloth strap that keeps the lid from opening all the way doesn't work properly now. Might work with smaller speakers. Maybe

When I bought the lids the price was $75, it has now doubled in price. Also I wanted to return the item as they did not fit and were too small for my bike. If you return the company takes $10 as a restocking fee, and to return the package to California from Illinois it was about $45. Rip off! On top of all that the lids feel flimsy, not how stock Harley lids feel. All in all low quality and terrible customer service return policy.

Bought this for my 2017 Road Glide Special. Paired it with Polk MM572 Marine Speakers. The speaker pod basket was too small for my speakers. Was going to return the items but decided to keep them and do the modification myself.You will have to use your OEM parts and move them over to these lids. Fairly easy. You will also have to do some drilling because the holes are not pre-drilled. There are some pre-drilled holes, but they were not properly aligned. I had to use a Dremel to cut the bottom of the speaker basket in order to fit my speakers. So check the depth of your speakers before you purchase if you don’t want to do any modifications.The quality of the lids are good enough. It gets the job done. It’s not like OEM Harley quality but you also don’t have to pay the Harley price. I probably wouldn’t buy these lids again if I knew I had to do that much modifications to it.

Everything went as it was supposed to, I have order a set of bags off of eBay once an the lids were all kinds of messed up and when I order these lids an they showed up, I was impressed because there wasn’t no flaws and I didn’t have any problems bolting them up
