... reviews that complain about being easily broken. So far, I haven't found that to be true.The colors are great - matching the clothes I'm wearing for the day. :)The negative reviews almost made me not purchase them, but I decided to try them anyway - and I'm glad I did.

I was pleased these came in a nice box to store, and the colors were nice. But one has already brokern - it snapped when I was trying to take it off. Also the design is a little unusual and they can get tangled in your hair when you're trying to take them off.

I'm really picky about hair clips, I've had too many break in the past. These are great since the claws are straight, which means I can press the claws together to close the clip without breaking the comb teeth. I use the large ones to hold up all of my thick hair and the smaller ones for half-up styles. One star taken off because the pin that keeps both halves connected slides out since it's only flanged on one end. Would still recommend, but would suggest checking it before putting it in your hair each time and make sure to push that pin in all the way firstEdit in March 2023- I have broken two of the larger clips and misplaced the others. They lasted pretty long so I will probably repurchase.

Cute colors. Grip isn’t great but they work for a few hours before needing to be readjusted.

I have long thick hair and these clips have been my go to since I purchased them. They hold a lot of hair and I like that the teeth sit flat against my head (more comfortable for driving and being able to put my head against the head rest). I didn't find the small clips at useful, unless I wanted to do a "half up" type of look. I have two complaints:. First, they aren't the best shape for clipping my hair into a bun. It works, but it was kind of awkward. Second, they all strangely broke at around the same time, about a year and half. Maybe pandemic hair was too much for these little workhorses? All in all, I feel like I got good use out it for what I paid and will likely purchase more (in addition to trying some other clips).

These are so comfortable and stay in the same position on my head all day. Because the base is the widest part, they don't turn on their side and have the teeth dig into your head like a lot of clips I used. They have a strong spring and feel very durable. Plus, the clips don't break when you drop them which is such a nice change to the clips I get from major hair brands. After wearing it for several hours I do have some of my shorter layers fall out so if you need all day stay and can't readjust it, it might not be great for you. I do have medium-to-thick curly hair so I can't speak for their effectiveness on think/straight hair!

I have super thick hair. And LONG. Anytime someone writes a review and says “these held my THICK hair” I do an eye roll like yeah right — probably don’t even have thick hair. But these do. I will say I like the ones in the box that there are less of. They hold really tight and secure. Although the other style holds, it isn’t the same type of secure firm hold. I don’t like having the sensation my clip is loosening or slipping around. I like the really right feel. Also with the other clip the way it’s shaped for some reason when I do half up half down, it starts to fall out on one side.Honestly the price paid for just the ones in the box that are smaller is worth it for me.NOTE *** I only use these clips to hold my hair half up I have not yet attempted to use this clip to hold all of my hair because my hair is SUPER thick and LONG and I have TONS of it.

I have really long hair that is about medium thickness and these do wonderful for my hair. My hair stays in place all day long. I even used these clips for a workout at the gym, and my hair still stayed in place. All of the colors are super cute and are kind of a matte color. The case that they come in are really convenient as well. These are probably the best hair clips I’ve bought for such a cheap price. They don’t clip so tight that you feel like they’re pulling your hair, but they also don’t clip so loose that you feel like you’re adjusting your hair every 5 minutes either.

Clips are strong and durable. I don't have to fix my hair once throughout the day wearing them. The box they came in keeps everything together and organized.

These are really cute, but the larger clips aren't great for fine hair. The smaller clips in the package work well for a half-up look, but the bigger ones are too big for the same look. I'm giving four stars because I can use the bigger ones to completely pull my hair back or I can put my hair in a bun with them. Again, adorable, but you might need a different set if you have fun hair.

I tried to take a pic of my hair up but couldn’t get a good one by myself. I have very thick hair past my shoulders and I can twist my hair into a ponytail and double it up and these clips hold it so well in place!!! My daughter is mixed with super thick, curly hair and they are the only ones we’ve found that hold securely! And they are so pretty in person, plus the box they come in is absolutely perfect for storage! Buy these clips!!! Straight hair, curly hair, thick hair, thin hair…these will be your favorite!

I'd looked at several of my brick and mortar drugstores for a fairly simple hair clip that laid flat against the head. Apparently my search was far less simple than I thought, because I struck out locally. I came here after because - as we all know - you can find everything on Amazon.These were exactly what I was looking for plus (bonus storage case). My only caution - which is not reflected in my rating because it's fine for me - is that they require a tighter grip than the average drugstore purchase. My 73 year old mother has difficulty placing them, as I would imagine a young child or teen might as well.
