This dress is ok. I bought it because I wanted a simple, fitted black dress, and it does the job.You definitely need to wear seamless underwear or a thong with it, since it’s very fitted. Shape wear isn’t the worst idea either to smooth out any bumps around the hips.The material is stretchy, but it’s difficult to actually stretch if that makes sense. I get a whole workout trying to put the thing on. You’ve really got to learn how to maneuver it, or else when you pull the dress down over your hips, your underwear are going down with it.I got a size medium and it fits okay. I have a super hard time finding dresses that fit both my small top and large bottom. My measurements are 33-27.5-41” and I wear a 34A. It fits pretty snug in the hips, but from my belly button to under my chest it’s pretty loose. I have to pinch the dress together on my back so it looks fitted from the front. The chest fits fine. I didn’t realize when I ordered the dress how wide the neckline is though. It’s almost an off-the-shoulder fit on me, so make sure you’ve got a strapless bra.Sorry for the awkward picture (I work in TV news), but I really can’t bring myself to even put the dress on to take a better one for this review. You can see how fitted it is on my hips yet really loose on my waist and back where I pinched it so it looks fitted from the front.Like I said, this dress does what I need it to for now, but if I come across a different one that looks more promising, I’m probably tossing this one out of my closet.

Tight in sleeves, big in neck, a bit loose in waist. Overall, a bit smaller than normal for size. I normally wear a small except in bust. This is a medium. It fits just like all the other reviewers said! I took pictures to show. And, for more information, I am 5'8" tall, 133 lbs. 36 DD. Measurements 38", 30", 36".I bought this because I need things that are stretchy in the top, and this definitely is! Which is a great thing. Overall, this fit as I expected it to. I really like the length as it is hard to find anything these days that go below the knee.The dress feels well made, and is very comfortable to wear, easy to sit down it, stretches with you as you move. It does seem to wrinkle a bit as I move around and sit, but not bad.Regarding the color, I bought two on the Black Friday prices. I love the purple! The charcoal; however, is a bit lighter than I expected it to be. I expected a deeper, richer color. But, the purple is very vibrant, deep and rich.All in all, a very good purchase!! I took off one star because of the color and those few fit issues, but I will keep both the dresses, and I anticipate enjoying wearing both of them!

I love this dress as the fit is nice however I should have ordered down a size. I looked at what others said and thought, they didn't say all their dimensions and although I looked at some of the pics posted, I should have taken into consideration that I have a rather small waist so the dress has a lot of room and doesn't cling as I would like it to.for those of you with an hourglass shape, buy your size or even one size down. this dress fits nicely but if you have a really small waist, one downfor those of you with an apple type shape, order for your bra size if you want the dress to fit/enhance "the girls"for those of you with a pear shape, order for your hips as the top will fit and you may even want to order a size down to have it fit snugglyfor those of you that want a tight/club fit, order a size down as the material is VERY giving. with that said, also remember it also discloses all of your lumps and bumps so its not forgiving in what it will showSuggestion: purchase undergarments that will hold you in and/or smooth you out and you will see how great you can look in this dressthis material doesn't appear to be see thru so I am loving it and ordering two maybe even three more if they have the colors I wantAdditionally, since the dress is versatile, it makes it easy to go from day to night by wearing a long jacket or sweater with pearls to work then take off the jacket and show your "wares" Tom's Wares that is, at the club, bar, or night out event you select.I recommend if you are on a budget and had to buy dresses that could work from spring to fall, I would say purchase these and dress them up or down, The dress is also over the knee length if you are average height and knee length if you are a few inches above average. I LOVE this since its a simple dress and could travel easily without taking up much room as well as not taking a great amount of time to put on!

The sleeves are smaller and causes a misfit for the top of your dress.

Love the fit and comfort of the dress. The colour was lighter than shown. Very comfortable to wear

I bought a bulk of toms ware dresses and they all fit wonderfully. i got a size large accidentally, so this one unfortunately didnt fit. Though i bet if i got a medium it would have fit great. Tom ware dresses are stretchy and are great for girls with a bit of curve to them <3 i might re-order this again cause i like their dresses so much

While I do kind of like it, the dress has good quality fabric, very classic style, I might need to get it fitted slightly as there is some loose material on the back.I was afraid to order it on the smaller size and then it would be too small. I think I might be in between sizes. It stretches though, so take that in consideration when ordering yours. But all in all I am quite happy, the dress is super classic and you can dress it up or down as needed. It hits just below my knees (I am 5'3), but if you want it shorter, I guess it shouldn't be hard to have that fixed. I like the length as I will be combining with dress shirts and blazers for work.

The fabric is very nice, quite thick, good quality. But it is very big, i ordered a small and it is more like a large, very loose fit, disappointed cause i thought it was a tight fit dress. Dont know if i will be wearing it at all.
