Good quality.. Chunky!!
I use this for a lot of different things and love the variety this brick offers in regard to shred size. If you are buying for arthropod substrate or horticultural amendment.. I found this to be more than satisfying for my needs. Most other Coir I've bought in bricks was really fine and dusty. Lots of little < 3cm chunks to bulk up media with moisture sinks!Another way this Coir stood out from ALL of the others I've used is the way it resisted growth of non-beneficials for long periods after being moistened.. As opposed to other Coir bricks and mixes I've used becoming ripe with life in short order of being moistened.

No pussyfooting.
I would like to give a 5 star but the issue I had was based on delivery. I purchased first and on amazon it shows delivery attempted however I was home when I got the notification and there was no driver or attempt made. I eventually weeks later had to file a claim and get my money back but I did wind up buying it again with that same reimbursement I got and I actually got the product the second time. Was a huge annoyance. I hydrated it and it looks like quality. Smells fresh and retains water perfectly. I have no doubt it is a great product I just dont like getting pussyfooted around in the beginning.

My veggies are looking good!
The consistency of this coir is between the fine version I have always used and wood chips. While the product is pricey, the recommendation of two leading YouTube gardeners convinced me to give it a try. My vegetable garden seems to be loving it, and I need to water less frequently than other years. It also goes a long way because of the bulk, which helps fill containers with less compost & perlite.

Great Soil Amendment
Most houseplants, as well as landscape plants, do not do well in compacted soil. Current practice is to provide an airy soil for our plants. I have used coco coir before, and I was accustomed to it having to be hydrated. I used a storage tote and added water, causing a great increase in volume. It contains chips and fibers. When I mix it into my soil, with some pearlite and some additional bark chips, I get an airy mix that my plants are loving.

I LOVE THIS STUFF!
I have ordered 2, maybe 3 blocks of this wonderful stuff this season and will order another to hold in reserve. a fine addition to your potting soil, especially if you mix your own. it is coarse, however, it drains well AND retains moisture. this block of fiber swells. A Lot!!! I must be pleased because I keep ordering!! this is not pith. t! it is coarse. just ask my epiphytes!

VermisTerra products are outstanding
This coco coir is the best I have found. The price is reasonable and my vegetable plants love it too. I mix it 50/50 with any topsoil and it provides me with great drainage the entire year.
