Very good value, better then first new ibanez guitar.
This little bass is way better then the $200 ibanez mikro guitar i got in august. It was buzzy even for a bass so loosened the truss rod a bit, not tighten, to cup fretboard more. Was very straight neck, cup it a little. Easy get 9inch or longer allen t hndl set. Not high quality electronics but sounds good on little sawtooth guitar amp and fly 3 with octive fuzz (the sawtooth amp dont like pedals). Great for practice and building up fingers. Very good value.....ibanez.

Very well made and very playable!!
Far exceeded my expectations. The fit and finish was outstanding. Light weight and comfortable. I had to set the intonation and adjust the pickup height. Tone and volume controls are very poor but turn to full volume and full bass and control the sound at the amp. An amazing value. Fun. Fun. Fun.

Good for beginners-
Body is pretty solid, perfect size for a youngster-mine 8 year old loves it. Neck is full size while body is much smaller, great for teaching proper tech. The only down side I see is with the pickups- the quality is pretty bad. it seems the volume nob is either all or nil-so only volume control comes from amp. for the price however good. who wants to spend hundreds for a kid's instrument when one never knows if the kid will stick it out. I plan to move to better quality if the instrument becomes a passion for my son

Cool bass guitar
I purchased this bass for my 4 yr old son because he wants to be a bassist like his daddy. It sounds really good. It's small and just right for my 4 yr old and allow room to grow before getting a bigger bass. It doesn't sound anything like a toy and it isn't a toy. He plugs it into his amp and rocks! He has already learned some bass lines and has played at church with the band.Update:It is now March 2017 and the bass still plays greats. He is 8 and still performs with it.

Decent building frame
I purchased this 1/2 size bass and converted it to an electric baritone ukulele. Modified the nut put thinner strings on it and adjusted the truss rod. I had to replace the pick-ups with new fender pick-ups since the ones that came with it were junk. The jack had to be tightend but other than that it cost me about $200 to make it into a electric steel string baritone ukulele and it rocks. About $90 bucks fo bass with shipping, $90 bucks for new Fender pick-ups and $10 for new strings, you won't find anything less expensive than that. The body, neck, head, and bridge are solid, the tuners, knob pots, and strap knobs are OK. Good Deal. As a bass it stunk since the pick-ups were junk but with about a $100 bucks for new Fender pick ups this Bass would compete with any midrange off-the-rack bass.

Beautiful and high qulaity
Love the guitar, so lucky to have gotten it, it was a right choice for my 11 year old daughter who needed a short scale bass guitar. Beautiful color and size, played it right out of the box without any adjustments and it sounded great! Hooked it up to our Fusion singing machine from Costco instead of an amplifier. The guitar was shipped very promptly and arrived well before we expected it!

A Real Instrument
I got this for a project I'm working on. I paid for premium shipping ($3) and it arrived with the stuff I ordered from Prime. It looks like the neck is a standard guitar neck drilled for 4 bass tuners. It measured 42mm wide at the cheap plastic nut, but the frets are smooth at the ends and decently done for a budget guitar. I've handled worse by far. It came nearly in tune and played decently out of the box. My biggest complaint would be the headstock is so heavy compared to the tiny body it tends to rotate down.I measured the E-string at 0.086" which makes it pretty light.

Don’t be fooled. Bronze buy at best!!!!
Thought this would be great for my 9 year old son because he wanted to play. It was hard enough to find a 3/4 size bass for him and thought I struck gold with this one. Oh was I wrong. I didn’t strike gold bu maybe a bronze because a little after 30 day the bottom screw came out that held the girar scrap. Since it is past 30 days I can’t return it so I had to put some super glue and gasket seal to hope it holds up. I wouldn’t buy this again. It just wasted my money for the quality.

This is the worst purchase I ever made
This is the worst purchase I ever made. The neck is bent and regardless of how high I would lift the strings they would still buzz becuse the neck is slightly bent around the middle. The instrument is useless! I didn't even bother to plug it in to see if the electronics work.
