Out of the box, it feels like a quality lens. I was pleasantly surprised with the heft and weightiness to the lens and the full metal body makes it feel like a much more expensive lens. I have some Rokinon primes and honestly, with their plastic housing, I feel like they would break if I dropped them from a few inches. This lens from Meike doesn't feel like that at all. The lens is heavy, feels unbreakable, and is super smooth in both focusing and changing your aperture. Now, this isnt a lens where you can track focus hard, but the type of lens that it is doesn't call for that type of action.
