This item took a while to arrive from China. It was posted through letterbox and was in a plastic envelope. Inside the item was nicely folded and pressed and in a plastic-type package to fit. It is a good size and because it is so silky it isn't bulky. The label says do not wash, dry clean symbol. It also says silk-like material - 100% polyester. The colours are good and the pattern is strong on both sides. I hand washed it in luke warm water/soap and then fabric conditioner and hung it to drip dry on the line. It didn't run and it dried fine. It will need a light press with a cool iron I would think to make it as perfect as when it came. Very pleased with it. The photos have dulled the green colour, my clothes are light green and the scarf is vivid green/peacock colours
