Great gluten free option when fresh isn’t available
Great flavor for a gluten free spice. Love to use for salad dressing and sauces. Use whenever fresh ginger isn’t available

I like it
Good flavor, glass jar, good packaging and organic. I use ginger in a variety of different recipes and I will purchase again.

Organic Ginger
I did not realize what a teeny tiny little package this would be.

this powdered ginger is useful to settle upset stomach and many gastric distress issues
Purchased for use in cooking. However, this powdered ginger is useful to settle upset stomach and many gastric distress issues, taken as a hot tea. Please note - contrary to the review by a customer who asserted Spicely products are not organic, they are in fact organic and carry the standard USDA Organic logo - the highest level of organic certification.

It has a nice ginger smell
It has a nice ginger smell. I use it for digestion and it really works. If you have gas or bloating try a cup of green tea with 1/2 tsp of ginger and some honey. Safer to use than Gas X. Pure organic ginger..

No flavor. Throwing away.
I have been using about 4 times the amount of this in recipes that I normally do, and taste basically nothing from it, except a little bit of an odd taste. It smells a little strange and does not give the kick that I love from ginger, even when using so much extra. I will throw most of it away and definitely won't buy again.I actually tried to return this - and I am not the kind of person who returns food items unless there is really something outstandingly wrong with it. Amazon won't let me return it - which is understandable. I felt like a little bit of a jerk even trying. But when you spend a decent amount of money on something and it is this useless, and even a little bad, it seems like I should be able to get my money back.I have been looking for quality bulk spices. I bought some cardamom from Spicely and it was fragrant and flavorful so I decided to try their ginger too, but it's bad. The cardamom was in a sealed foil bag, and I wonder if that helped it retain some freshness? Who knows.
