This thing is cool! Look no further this is the one you want
Ok, so I bought this to make "baked" beans in my InstaPot. I have a recipe where you cook the means and then use an immersion blender to mash the beans. I ordered this one because it had good reviews and I use their app to find a lot of recipes. This thing was way better than I expected. For the price I expected a mediocre blender that did a so-so job.First off this thing has some weight to it. It's not made out of cheap plastic. As soon As I pulled it out of the box I was struck by how solid and heavy it felt. You can tell immediately that they use solid metal to manufacture this. The blender attachment is also solid metal. This actually surprised me a bit as I expected the very tip that shields the blades to be made of plastic to avoid scratching any surface it might encounter.Second, when I turned it on it went from 0-60 in no time flat. This thing has some serious power. It actually grabbed a hold of the beans and had so much centrifugal force that it sucked itself right to the bottom of the pot. I was still on the low setting! Because it does not have a plastic piece at the very bottom around the blades it did leave little scratch marks on my relatively new Instapot. So be careful not to let it run around the bottom of whatever surface you are blending.Third, and perhaps least important, this thing is cool. It has the super cool blue lights when it's plugged in. It's made out of solid stainless steel and the combination of the two make it one sexy kitchen gadget! This also comes with a whisk and a measuring cup and some other things but the main parts I use are the blender attachment and whisk. Oh and clean up is a breeze! Detach the blender or whisk and throw them in the dishwasher.Pros:Super cool blue lightCrazy powerfulIncludes whisk and blender attachment along with other accessoriesSolid constructionEasy clean upCons:Bottom of blender attachment can scratch surfaces so make sure to hold it above the bottom of the pot/pan

Powerful blender at a great price
I bought this to have an extra immersion blender for travel, as my dietary needs mean I often have to prepare my own food. I used it while traveling and have continued to use it at home--at least once or twice a day for the past month. I really like this blender. It's sleek, has plenty of power (four blades instead of two), and is easy to clean.Things I like:*Four blades make quick work of smoothies. I haven't tried it with really tough items like ice, but I think it's up for it.*The business end is large and flat enough to clean easily--I can get my sink brush in to clean it. I don't have a dishwasher at the moment, so easy hand-cleaning is important. It's still small enough to fit into wide-mouth canning jars, but not regular-mouth jars.*The mixing cup that comes with it has a lid. Nice for on the go--no spills.*I really like the mini chopper attachment. At first I thought it was excess stuff I didn't need, but it makes quick work of chopping onions and garlic without tears. Very handy! Also easy to clean.*It looks cool. When plugged in it has a blue glow around the top and around the power buttons. Speed is controlled by twisting a flat knob on the top, with a satisfying soft click feedback to know it's being adjusted.Other:*It's a little heavy, but not excessively so. Probably from a more powerful motor. According to my digital kitchen scale:Mealthy blender base 24.15oz (685g). Base plus blade attachment 30.15oz (854g). My other immersion blender (a Cuisinart) weighs in at base 19.8oz (561g) and whole blender 27.4oz (776g). Not a huge difference.*I haven't tried the whisk attachment so I have no idea how effective it is.Overall it's a great little blender at a reasonable price that I believe will hold up well.

Great product and Great Customer Service
First I want to start by saying that I really do like this immersion blender. I usually use the whisk attachment but have used the "wand" (the longer piece with the blades on the bottom) a few times and I have so far only used the mini food processor attachment twice. The whisk is great and super fast. It is useful for scrambling eggs, mixing up "Bulletproof" coffee, making whipped cream, etc. The "wand", as I like to call it, is good for milkshakes and smoothies. The mini food processor is good for chopping up just about anything (though I haven't used it on anything hard like ice, nuts, coffee beans, etc.)The reason why I only gave it four stars, though, is because while I do really like the product it isn't perfect. The first two things I noticed is that the top part, where you can turn the dial to adjust the speed, is not flat. It should be! If it were flat, then you could turn the whole thing over and have it stand up on the counter when you have the wand or whisk attachment on it. Otherwise, you have to find somewhere to lay it down or a plate or cup or something to put it in so that whatever you're mixing doesn't get all over the counter. The other thing is, the whisk attachment has a "sleeve" (the guy at customer service's word, not mine) where you plug the whisk into it, and then plug the sleeve into the main body. I hate this sleeve. If you wash it, which I do not recommend, water will get inside of it and then slosh around for forever. I really don't like this because that means it can't properly dry inside and I am afraid mold or something may grow inside of it. The wand attachment has the same problem. If you wash the whole wand water will get into it from the part where you attach it to the rest of the machine. To prevent this from happening again (I made the mistake of washing the whole thing and got water in it one time) I carefully wash the wand without getting the bottom part wet so water can't get inside it. As for the sleeve, I use an alcohol wipe or a damp paper towel with soapy water to wipe it.Aside from those two things, I too had a problem with the cup cracking. My cup not only cracked but somehow became cloudy. It isn't a big deal for me, I just use a large mason jar to mix things instead. Customer service is sending me a replacement cup, though.Speaking of which, their customer service is great. I have contacted them two times, first about the water getting into the sleeve and wand and it not coming out, and then about the cup. Their answer about the water getting into the wand and sleeve was that even if water does get in there, it should eventually dry. I think that if it were made slightly better, they could have prevented the water from getting in there in the first place, but oh well. When I contacted them about the cup cracking, they asked me to send them a picture of it and said they would send out a replacement. They sent the replacement even before I sent them the picture of the cracked cup, which was also really cool of them. Here are the Pros and Cons for those that don't want to read my whole review.Pro: Fast, easy to use, works well, mixes things like coffee, scrambled eggs, whipped cream really well. Customer service was awesome.Con: Water gets into the sleeve and wand attachments (but this is easily prevented by how to wash the wand and just wiping the sleeve instead of washing it). The cup broke (we are being sent a replacement). The dial at the top isn't flat so it can't be stood up on the counter with the whisk attachment on (that is kind of nitpicky, I know lol)All in all, I would recommend this and I am probably going to buy other Mealthy products the next time I need something like this.
