My fav drink in the world
I have been without Ribena for years and now I finally have some. I am so happy, it's so good!I did notice one person down the list giving it a 1 start because it's too sweet to drink without gagging. Dude, you're supposed to dilute it with water before you drink it. It even lists the instructions on the label. The drink isn't the problem in this equation, it's user error.

Great drink. Grew up with this in England and still love it. Dilute by adding 3 parts water to the concentrate. Like everything else this is a bit pricey but not replaceable.

A taste of Britain!
Like others have mentioned, this might not be for the "average" American palate, but I fell in love with this syrup, reminds me of fruit syrups from my childhood, raspberry and peach, tart cherry. It slightly tart, not near as sweet as American Soda pop, when mixed as recommended. I use seltzer mainly, 25% ribena to 75% seltzer, served over crushed ice cubes. Yummy. Great non alcoholic drink that goes great with savories, bacon butties, fish n chips, etc etc. At 10 dollars per bottle, not cheap, but it's like a more pricey 6pack of premium soda, and much tastier.

Terrible product loaded with sugar thickeners and artificial sweetners and preservatives
This is way more like a syrup than a juice. So sweet its impossible to drink without gagging.

Blackcurrant: A Flavor that Needs to Return to America
The Blackcurrant plant vanished from America due to fungus it could carry- which could destroy Spruce trees, roughly a Century ago. Spruce Wood was the Primary Material for the Construction of Airplanes, until Aluminum largely replaced it in the 1930s (the Hughes H-4 aircraft was called "The Spruce Goose" for a reason!). Ever since, it's a Delicacy from the Old World. Seeing as Spruce isn't necessary for Aircraft, and with better understandings of Fungus, Agriculture and Forestry today, it should be more than possible for Blackcurrant to return to America and be cultivated again. On the Ribena 3-Pack, a Great Value, and a Great Alternative to regular sodas, if mixed with plain Talking Rain soda water!
