It worked flawlessly
Drive worked flawlessly.Apparently the user wrestled a disk out of it holding only the edges and pulled off the disc holder.Thankfully it was able to snap back into place.And continues working after demonstrating to the user how a disc should be removed.

Worked for 7 months, then sounds like a vacum cleaner, motor died.
Try another brand of no-name junk, this one has a short lifespan.

First one DoA, second one lasted 5 months...
Quite likely the poor shipping packaging is the reason these breaks ... thin amazon padded envelope...The first one was dead from the start, while the second one made a lot of noise but actually worked.... for 5 months.. I guess it's a hit or miss on the shipping then?
