spray adhesive for perfect adhesion to the 3D printer print bed, 400 ml

I bought a can of this 3DLAC soon after acquiring a Flashforge 5M Pro which comes with a textured PEI build plate. Certainly for PLA I needed an extra bit of stickiness to get around having to use Rafts and Brims a lot of the time. And 3DLAC has worked a treat.I went for the Aerosol spray version and have found it very easy to put just the right amount of "dusting" on to the build plate to achieve the level of stick required. The 3D prints stick to the plate and after printing are removable with just a minor flexing of the plate, where they release instantly.The spray has a pleasant smell to it. It goes on easily to the build plate, and washes off with mild soap and running water when needed to be cleaned. But generally I just reapply new spray over old. So far that has not been a problem.A handy addition to my 3D Printing equipment. I can certainly recommend this if you're having troubles with 3D adhesion.

I was having issues with warping and things slipping off the build plate. This has ended all that. I did question it when I saw the price but it is a big can and you don’t have to use it on every print so should last ages. Also saves money on large failed prints in the long run. Great product

Over the years I've used a lot of the suggested hacks for keeping prints stuck to the bed with middling success. Painters tape used to be my preferred method until they changed the formulation of the brand I used and it stopped working. Since then I've struggled finding another brand or method that would work as well and usually I have had to make design compromises to reduce warp forces (no sharp corners, low infill etc) to keep prints stuck down. Finally, I think my long search is over. This stuff is excellent and keeps prints firmly stuck down. It is quite expensive, but you don't need to use very much and providing you aren't printing something large, you can adjust print positions to use fresh areas of the bed before having to respray. Another cost saving boon is that this will work with a cold bed (only currently tested with PLA). With the ridiculous energy prices nowadays, not having to heat the bed will likely mean that 3D Lac will soon pay for itself in energy savings. Of course, there is always a bit of a double-edged sword with strong bed adhesion, and that is getting the prints off afterwards. I find that I do have to prise prints off the bed with judicious use of a tissue blade to get under the print. Saying that, my previous struggles with keeping things stuck on the bed has meant that I have adopted very aggressive first layer settings with a very small print gap so that the first layer is firmly squished onto the bed. Personally, I much prefer having to struggle to get things off the bed afterwards than face the waste of coming to the printer after a long print run to find a tangle of extruded plastic caused by a print popping off the bed mid run.

It may seem expensive but it's so good it works out as great value. My go-to 3D printing adhesive.

I was skeptical, and have been through the whole hairspray, blue tape, glue stick, washing all the time phases, and let me tell you this is the product. lightly spray the print surface (preferably outside the printer if it's enclosed) then wait a few seconds to dry, pop your print profile and presto - doesnt matter how thin, you'll get perfect adhesion. Thoroughly impressed. Got the large can, but I'm already having anxiety of what happens if they stop making this stuff!

New printer (Flashforge Adventurer 5M) was still having warping problems despite using Flashforge supplied glue stick and multiple tweaks to slicing.Bit the bullet and splashed the ~£10 on a can of 3DlacThis really does work.AND as they claim - hard to remove when warm i.e when print is running or just finished (heated bed) but comes off easily once it's cooled down a bit.You don't have to reapply it for every print, but I tend to just add a top up spray where it looks a bit thin and that seems fine.Yes it does smell a bit like hairspray but is it worth trying hairspray to save a few quid.Wish I'd tried it sooner on my old printer!!!!

3d-lac does exactly what it sets out to do, extremely well (sometimes, TOO well!). A quick spray before you print, and your print is almost guaranteed to stay put. A good heavy spray, and it'll stay put forever! So use sparingly...I'd highly recommend getting the spray can, which gives a nice fine even mist, rather than the pump bottle version of the same stuff, the latter (in my experience) tends to spit out blobs, which is less than ideal.For all I know, this stuff is just expensive hairspray (I haven't tried hairspray to compare, nor have I tried it out on the wife's hair), but I'm happy to buy it because it Just Works.

I was getting ready to throw my print plates out and get expensive new ones. I bought this as a last ditch effort, and it works flawlessly! Doesn't leave residue on the bottom of the prints either, compared to glue sticks. All my parts have stuck - even the ones with a very small contact area on the bed. Recommended if you are having repeated adhesion issues.
