Left open to water/rain, this product will completely dissolve. **Q: Can this be used to"glue 2 pieces of metal together?** A: No. As per the manufacturer, it is "for repairing cracks, small gaps, seam connections or holes in exhaust manifolds, pipe connections, mufflers, catalytic converters, outdoor grills, fire boxes, gas and commercial furnaces and water heaters." It is NOT designed to bond two separate pieces together. **Q: Can i use this on an engine block steipped bolt hole?** A: I assume you meant "stripped". Is it one of the head bolt holes or another hole for mounting something else? If it is a head bolt hole, I'd use a heli-coil instead. JB Weld isn't very structural in strength. It's good in compression, but not sure about tension, torsion, or shear forces. In one of the questions, a JB Weld Support rep said "No, this will not provide any type of structural support", so I'd go with heli-coil instead. That will also keep the bolt hole centered closer to where it is now.
