OutgeekRetro Pagoda Parasol Umbrella With Hook Handle - Sun and UV Protection

Hasn’t broken on me yet. I use it mostly as a parasol, but it’s good for rain too. It doesn’t flip inside out (at least not yet) like my other umbrellas do.

This is exactly what I wanted and what I need it to be. I'm a natural redhead and the sun and I aren't friends. I wanted a parasol with a little bit of gothy style that is light weight and will help keep the sun off me while I'm out and about. This does the trick and can also be used in the rain! Now I just need one that can also function as a weight-bearing cane and I'd buy several in multiple colors.

Beautiful parasol. My only concern is the plastic clip that releases the umbrella to close, feels fragile. I'm sure as long as care and mindfullness is used, it will last and be fine, and if not, simply push the metal part and it releases. Very vibant colors and the small band that wraps around it to keep it closed has a tiny snap so it doesn't just flop around. Very smart and tidy! Handle is thin so my hand did get tired after gripping it for several hours. Overall, totally worth it. So many compliments!!!

I PAID FULL PRICE FOR THIS, so here is a factually honest, truly unbiased, and voluntary review -It's adorable! It's Funky! It's retro and even somewhat elegant!My first one arrived broken (literally broken into two pieces), but Amazon will only give you a refund for return (not an exchange due to third party seller, even though order fulfilled by Amazon). Very frustrating when you've included this $20 item in your cart of over $49 so that you could get free shipping, but then you can't get free shipping if you want replacement for the broken one they've sent you (you have to place another order of over $49 - unless you want to go through waiting on hold and dealing with customer service in order to spend ten minutes on the phone just to get free shipping on an item that you just wanted to get an undamaged one). Sigh.The broken one was sent back, and the new one arrived just fine. It's really quite cute. Don't worry if the little top part doesn't pop up right away to make that nice little curve at the top. I was fearful that it was not functioning properly, but there is actually a little spring up there and after opening and closing it a few times the top parts spring sprung and it looked just the way it does in the picture.It lost one star from me because it's actually pretty shallow and a bit smaller than anticipated. Despite that, I am loving the shape and have ordered two other colors in this style :o)

It is freaking awesome!!!! Just like picture. Easy to use. Only downside my own fault.....I didn't look at the measurements. But still awesome. Now if I could find one double in size.

I love this umbrella/parasol so much!I bought it because I wanted something to keep the sun from causing any more discoloration to my face (long story, not worth getting in to), and also to have a very visible show of support and allyship.So, I use it as a parasol on sunny days and an umbrella on rainy days, and rain or shine this beauty draws looks everywhere I go.The metal tips slide off the metal arms occasionally when I’m being careless and not paying attention to how I set it down, but that’s not a dealbreaker because they are REALLY easy to slide back on.The handle is lovely because it’s curved, but it is absurdly thin and uncomfortable to hold for any significant length of time (as in longer than going from the car to the door, for example). But I used a roll of the self-adhesive silicone tape that is used on old steering wheels and tennis rackets, and it made such a difference that I can comfortably carry this thing as long as I want. Which is a big deal because I take walks during the day, and I use this umbrella. So, word of advice: get something to thicken up the handle and save yourself some hand cramps.Even with those two downsides, I still give this a five star rating and I will absolutely buy it again if I ever need to replace it for any reason.

Especially with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice coming out soon. Every kid in the neighborhood compliments. Have only used it as a parasol so I don't know how it would fare in a heavy rain. It's a "light use" item for me. I have a golf umbrella for inclement weather.

This busted a few times in the short span of time I owned it. At first it was just the little nodes of fabric coming off, but by the end they were just busted. It’s too bad, my coworkers loved the look of it

Definitely too pricy in my opinion for the quality (visible hot glue where the umbrella attaches to the handle), but it does look exactly like the picture and is super cute as an accessory for a theme costume!
