Claims made by the latest, greatest products are very rarely met in my experience. I’m happy to say that ice/cold brew coffee does taste better. Using the same grounds we brewed a batch of the cold brew and a few cups through a K-cup adapter. The cold brew was richer and not bitter. It had all the greatness of barista coffee without the downsides of home brewed taste.It took a few tries to get coffee that wasn’t watery. The trick was to not pack the grounds too tight, but not too loose either. Basically the Goldilocks blending works best. Once we found a reliable way to hit that spot the coffee was coffee house good. I am excited to have great cold coffee at home. My wife prefers hot coffee. She even admitted the cold brew later warmed in the microwave was as good as her French press coffee. When I pushed to see if it was better she said “maybe.” Nothing like a definitive answer, 😀.Anyway the downside is making coffee this way takes time and is more labor intensive than brewing any of the other at home methods. I can say that it’s good enough that I have been daily brewing. I like to brew and then store in a air tight canister stored in the fridge. The coffee is good for a few days after the initial brew.Of course the final results will depend on the quality of the coffee, using a strong blend is best, and the skill of the brewer. Don’t be impatient with the process. Each time will get you closer to maestro status,As far as the device the quality is there in the fit and feel of the materials. They clean up easily, but hand washing is required.I’d definitely recommend this for anyone who really enjoys coffee. They are the ones who will take the time to learn and brew. The habitual just gotta have caffeine drinker probably won’t be committed to the process to use it.I recommend buying this, adding a nice dark blend to your order, and have fun learning. It’s an adult Easy Bake Oven.

I thought this would be all glass but it is not.The translation to English for the instructions is horrible and doesn't hardly make sense.Top part is plastic. Also the Metal filter for the coffee grounds is not big enough to seal off the grounds so some slip through. I have to use two paper filters, one on top and one on bottom. Also you need to use a pretty fine ground, not regular drip grind coffee. As someone else mentioned, the drip adjustment is very touchy and I have had it stop dripping after halfway through and adjust it again. The bottom flask is big enough for 24 oz (4 - 6oz cups) but you will have to add more ice or water to get that much after some has filtered through.It works but I would NOT recommend buying unless you want a cheap cold brew maker to get experience or to see if you want to invest in a better one.

The drip valve VERY touchy to try to get it to the drip rate. Doesn't soak all of the coffee therefor not able to draw everything out of it.

It was just what I was looking for.

I was really excited for this dripper but I have been let down. I have done about 10 or so brews and of them have had 1 decent bre. Very inconsistent and over half the grounds stay dry. Would return if I was able to. Time to start the search again.
