Threw this carb on my fs55r and it started fairly easily. I had to make minimal adjustments to tune out bog. I did not use the spark plug so I am not sure on its quality. I would have paid more if it came with a ngk plug. Great value for the price. It is hard to justify taking your unit into a shop when these are so cheap.

Thirty + year old Stihl string trimmer is up and running. The fuel line "cork" is tough to install. Wouldn't fit no matter how hard I pressed, then plunk - went through the opening and into the tank. Fortunately pulling on hoses restrived it without evident damage. Finally, I pressed with a slot screwdriver one edge of the cork at a time until it was safely in! Runs like a charm.

Worked well on my Stihl FS55 string trimmer. While the parts didn't solve me problem, which ended up being a partially plugged spark arrester, the parts performed well after cleaning it. I still have an extra fuel and air filter. I did adjust the carburetor and it runs like new.

This carburetor was a direct replacement for a Stihl FS55. The whole installation took approximately 10 minutes with the replacement of carburetor, fuel lines and fuel filter. The start up took only one pull with no adjustments. I appreciated the metal ends of the carburetor for the fuel lines.

Worked great. Easy installed. Used original outer gaskets.

I took apart my stock carb and messed with it for about 30 mins cleaning the jets etc.This took 5 mins to install and less headache, do your sell a favor and order this sucker.Wacker runs brand new boys.
