We are pleased with this purchase
This was a Christmas gift for my 13 year old son. He asked for this item because his school's science lab uses these. We are pleased with this purchase. It does everything as stated in the product description. If you're looking for a next level microscope that appeals to teenagers and adults, this is the perfect option. This is a great microscope!

Great Microscope for the year 2008
The company needs to update the LCD screen, it s 10 years or more ago, they have RC cables to ,hook up to computer, im would not be surprised if there was a VCR instructional tape that came with it. This is a quality built machine, but to pay $450-600 is rough. The minute they do upgrade the electronics your $600 Penta view or $450 Tetra view will be worthless. I returned it only because the touch screen nis probably the first one Ever invented, i cant even get the picture on my cheap monitor , then pixels are too much. I would have top buy a commodore 64 computer to view the display. For those who bought this years ago, cheers. Amazon also plays games , i bought the tetra view for $450 ish, then im had a Penta view in my cart for $400. When i asked about it they quickly removed it and said i was too slow....

Perfect for horse barn
Handy- easy to use and move around. We use it to check samples during breeding season in our horse barn. Would recommend to others for this purpose.

Good microscope
This is a descent microscope so far. The one complaint I have with product is there were no helpful instructions at all so the first 30 minutes were frustrating. I went to you tube to find a how to video on set up. It was more helpful than the small pamphlet that was in the box.

The size overall was smaller than expected. Has to tighten some screws for the micro adjustments has a great picture

This is the best microscope I have EVER used!! It is exactly what I needed!! A REAL BARGAIN!! Shocked at how inexpensive for the QUALITY!! LOVE IT!

Screen stopped working
I usually do not leave reviews but I am very disappointed that I paid so much for a product when it stopped working within a year of buying it. It is stored correctly, always used the correct cords, and even with batteries, the screen will not turn on now which makes the entire microscope useless. I use this for work so it's a necessity to have.

No es un microscopio para un Laboratorio. Tiene mala calidad en los lentes, no enfoca bien. Si creen que servirá para trabajos serios de Laboratorio de Análisis Clínicos, no lo compren.
