A Clearly Defective Product
This product lasted just over one month ( about 4 uses). Somehow, it just crossed over the 30 day return policy, leaving me with a leaking, worthless item. Two days ago I turned on the faucet, stretched out the hose, and watched the water pour out of the first 5 feet like a sieve. Amazon should seriously reconsider selling this product. Unfortunately, Amazon does not show a link to the seller in order for me to to address this issue directly. The only reason I gave it one star is that without that star I couldn't write this review.

Excellent product, but take care
I've been trying to figure out why there are so many negative reviews about this product. A little over a year ago I bought this product. It was especially useful as I live in the city and hoses are a pain to haul around. It worked wonderfully and fit into a one gallon bucket, easy to carry and store.Last weekend, I brought it out to water newly potted plants and made a mistake. I forgot to turn off the water at the spigot and turned the water off at the sprayer. Not a good idea. As I twisted the sprayer off the hose, the fitting came apart and sprayed all over everything, including me. Quite a mess. But I realized it had been my own fault. The instructions that come with the hose clearly say to turn the tap off, then open the sprayer and let the water pressure go down before removing the sprayer. A lesson learned. I just ordered another of the same hose and won't make that mistake again. I ordered a longer one and it still fits in the same gallon bucket..Please don't let the negative reviews affect your judgement. This is a great product, it just needs to be handled a little differently.

What an utterly waste of time and money
What an utterly waste of time and money. The product actually works great, but it WILL break eventually. This lasted barely more than a month, of which I used it maybe 3-4 times. What happens is that the internals somehow snap (about a quarter way in my case) after repeated use, probably due to the constant contraction/expansion. When this happens, the water leaks out from the hose skin at the point of breakage, rendering the nozzle completely useless. The fun part is that it cannot be repaired, meaning the entire purchase is a complete waste of money.Better off getting a regular hose.

While it worked it was great, lightweight and did not kink- but not sure ...
This hose's inner rubber tube burst within 90 days of using it. While it worked it was great, lightweight and did not kink- but not sure I would buy another one. Of course I'm about 30 days past the returnable date...

So far, so good
I bought this green hose and a similar blue hose on the same day. I have used the green one several times. It was a bit tricky the first time: I didn't realize you have to fill it up and drain it, first time only. After I had drained it the first time, it worked a treat. I did find that it was necessary to use the included sprayer, not my own.Btw, the blue hose (some other brand) arrived a few days later, I used it to water 1/3 of my garden before it broke off at the spigot. So this one is better than the cheaper blue one, IMO.Back to this green hose for me.

This hose is perfect for my needs...
I bought it to use inside of my pool lanai for cleaning the deck and screens and all of the other things associated with a built in pool. I needed to replace the heavy hose that was hard to drag around the pool (usually falls in) and pull it back into a coil. My wife and 87 year old mother also needed to use it for filling plant watering jugs etc. and their complaints lead me to checking out this hose. I need to say that when I placed the order I immediately received an email from the seller with pertinent instructions (well done I might add) for the installation of the included washers and notes to make sure you account for them and don't toss them out with the packaging. Being an engineer I didn't really need hose washer instructions but was very impressed that they would do this. It's indicative of a very motivated and customer oriented seller. I was pleased before even receiving the item!Back to the hose...I am more than satisfied with the quality of the hose. It performs exactly as described. It's very light weight, and when empty, its a small handful. When I turned on the water it stretched out to 50' which was more than adequate for reaching diagonally across the pool. It was still very light and easy to manipulate when fully "inflated". The sprayer handle was very impressive as well. It actually works better than the typical sprayers I buy from Lowes and Home Depot and it is much lighter weight. I can't testify to the longevity of the item as I have only had it for a few days, but I am very satisfied with my purchase. So are my wife and mother...and that's what's important!

Good idea but broke quickly
Great idea, but this broke pretty quickly. Very light to carry around, however, it doesn't really expand to full length when in use (seeing as the pressure decreases in the hose the hose then shrinks to a shorter size). I hope they find a way to make these more durable.

light, easy to store, transfers water at less than usable pressure
This is all hype. My wife wanted to get one so I did. It was used to rinse off the 52' x 28' concrete parking pad and water the 5 45 gal pots where I grow my vegetables (my wife is not responsible for doing either f the primary uses of the hose but she wanted one). It IS light. It DOES shrink when the water is let out. The fittings are good enough. But none of the positives have anything to do with it actually transporting water effectively. I replaced a seven year old 50' Sears rubber hose with a lifetime warranty. I used this hose, for the 4-5 weeks that it lasted, EVERY morning to water my vegetables. I have a water breaker on the end with a separate valve. It does a pitiful job of transferring the pressure coming out the faucet to the end of the hose where the water breaker is. Where I was getting nearly 100% pressure transfer with the original hose, this one does about 50%. It was more than a trickle, but it wasn't even strong enough to get the water to spray out of the water breaker nozzle even a little. Half of the pressure goes into expanding the hose, which is constantly trying to shrink back. I hated it every time I had to use it. The same thing for cleaning the concrete with the fine tip nozzle cleaning concrete. Pitiful pressure. Thankfully I left it on for about 1 hour while I was cutting grass. I had planned on washing the mower deck when I had finished. Luckily it blew out the side of the hose about 12" down from the faucet ( a place in the hose that never touched the ground to get damaged). I went get the old hose out of the shed and I'm back to being able to water the garden without getting off the concrete. I didn't realize how low the pressure was until I hooked up the old hose. If you need a light hose that is easy to store and will be used to transfer water at less than usable pressure, get this hose. If you need a hose to do work and put water out at usable pressure, basically get any other traditional hose.
