I am so amazed by this book because the recipes are a little different than what you typically find. I immediately made the pistachio crumb cake. Most people don't have pistachio flour on hand. But you can easily grind unsalted pistachios (or any unsalted nuts) in a mini food processor. The result is absolutely delicious. What I love most is that, grams, onces and cups are used so you can pick which one your comfortable with. Enabling you to easily downsize or increase a recipe easily. Unique flavor combinations have me so excited.The book is beautifuly photographed. The recipes are easy to follow. I can't wait to bake even more out of the book.

I've never heard of this author or his blog but bought the book on impulse and am glad I did. The recipes for the passion fruit and raspberry caramels are worth the price of the book. I'm very pleased. Nice work.

This is a gorgeous book with recipes that truly taste as good as it looks. I am a home baker and I recently joined an online baking group where this book was chosen as the book of the month. I felt compelled to make as many things as I could because every picture in the book is absolutely stunning and it draws you in.The pictures of what I’ve made are the recipes called the Devil Wears Chocolate, Triple Raspberry & Lemon Birthday Cake, Brownie Wears Lace, Raspberry Jewel Pluot Galette, Roasted Strawberry Ice Cream, Blackberry Swirl Frozen Yogurt, and Chocolate Chip Cookies.All the recipes are clear, detailed and concise. I can tell that every recipe was well thought out and well tested. Everything I made turned out wonderfully and was delicious. Although the month has ended for the book club, I’m going to continue making things from the book because of how much I love it.

This will be one of my go to favorites when I want to make desert.The lime and ginger cookies sold me. I was out of limes the first time, so I made them with Meyer lemons. It is a toss up which I like more the Meyer lemon, or the lime cookies now that I have made them several times.Next I am trying:• Carrot Bundt Cake• Raspberry & Pistachio Crumb Cake• Triple Raspberry & Lemon Birthday Cake• Rosemary & Sea Salt FocacciaActually, I plan to work my way through the recipes. So far, I have liked everything I made, and so has everyone else.

I bake a lot and I love cookbooks so when I say that this is one my absolute favorite cookbooks ever, I mean it. Cenk Sonmezsoy's beautiful baking aesthetic, the artfully written and produced book, the beautiful photos and his good humor are just icing on the cake Each recipe is written from the heart but even better than that, each is written from a technical view so that the home baker can recreate every recipe in the book. His Sour Cherry and Almond Upside-Down Cake is a favorite in my home as well as his Roasted Strawberry Ice Cream but those are only 2 recipes out of so many that keep this book on my "favorites" bookshelf with only 3 other books.

All the Ohhhhhs and AAhhhhs on the review of this book is definitely true. I am now one of them. The photography and the description by the author is excellent. Also the text is well written and the recipes easy to follow. I don't find the recipes complicated at all. Like the artful baker himself, I have become obsessive in making a lot of recipes from the book and each one I have baked have been a big hit. Looking at the gorgeous photographs alone is well worth opening the book. Sigh!

This is a gorgeous book. Just the book itself with its heavy paper and colors. Every aspect of the book is carefully designed which adds to the pleasure of it. And the recipes! They are wonderful and easy to follow. Every one I’ve tried has been delicious and I want to make them all—probably will eventually. Even if you aren’t a baker, the pleasure of his writing would make this book worth the purchase, as his head notes are lovely to read.

This book exceeds all expectations. The pictures are enticing, the instructions are explicitly Lear and the end results of baking are delicious. Thank you for bringing great joy to the baking experience of the home baker.

I have many cookery books & am a keen baker. This book was 5 years in the making & you can really tell, the detail & accuracy is outstanding. This is full of sophisticated, no-fail recipes. Many books re-hash similar recipes. Not this one, it is different, modern, unusual (in a very good way). I completely love it. The Appley, Deeply Appley cake was my first trial. Some of the recipes require a few processes, but the results are totally worth the effort.

Would you like to make your own caramels, ice cream, cheesecakes or something else? Just stuning recipes in this book! Amazing tasting sweets and perfect presentation! And quite easy to follow!

The Artful Baker is full of delicious recipes that are easy to follow and bake. For each recipe, the author put a photo, which helps you envision the end product and the author’s meticulous presentations are inspirational. It is also important to mention that the author managed to give you some hints on his personal life and background, which helps you connect with him.

I got it as a present some time ago and I gave it two times already as a present. A great book, the recipes I tried turned up to be great and delicious!The level of difficulty is not very high.

A beautiful book. Really impressive! Fabulous pictures. I haven't made any recipes as yet but am enjoying browsing and tasting in my imagination. It is a LARGE book. You will need to sit at a table to rest it on while reading ;) ;)
