If you planned to use this because is punk for a specific purpose.. well is not, not at all. It has a couple of tiny spots of pink here and there but you really need to look to see it. Other than that, then I truly dnt know how it works as I found the same sand somewhere else cheaper, I only bought this one because it was punk, and is not so am returning the sack.

I think it could be cheaper but I understand why it isn't. There should be a guide to how much you should buy for what size tank. I bought on bag at first and it barely covered the bottom of my 55g. Other than that the sand is great and my fish seem to love the change they are more active. I have noticed my ph is more stable. My water got cloudy when I first put it in but the next day it was clear. I recommend this sand. It also make your tank so much brighter.

I frickin love this stuff. It really is a lot less cloudy than others and fush are able to see so much better. Will not go back to the caribsea..... and it is so much more amazing looking.

Really adds realism to my aquarium decoration. Getting the required Nitrogen cycle bacteria with the sand is a leap in saltwater aquarium basics.

Beautiful white sand. Added to existing sand bed, clouds cleared up by next morning. Very happy with it.

Looks wonderful in my tank. Will buy more.
