So we tried it and although the first night was tough, she adapted to it pretty quickly and now can sleep for 3-5 hours at a stretch at night. The cool thing is that she can move around in the hammock, but can't really go anywhere in it, so if she doesn't like swaddling and wants to thrash around, she can do so as much as she wants.The one con I have about this is minor... it would be great if the straps could be tightened another inch or so. Our baby is 5 months now and even with the straps as short as they can get she is already starting to get low in the hammock as she grows, so we may only have a couple more months this is useful.
