I do not have electricity in our small goat barn. This little lamp is perfect!! I charge it every morning, does take a couple hours, but it's bright and easy to hang. Very happy with it. Would be great for outdoor camping and cooking as well.Edited: coincidence? The day after writing the review the charging port actually fell inside the lantern and now I cannot charge it. The ability loo charge it was the only reason why I bought it. I'm so disappointed (and I bet the goats are too).

I love this lantern. Purchased it for camping, but currently use it as an additional light over coffee bar. Magnetic base is perfect for adjusting location. Have only charged it with usb. Works great. Plan on buying more. Update, Just bought 2 more. Good bright light for camping and use around the house.

Works great! Good area illumination. BUT ONE DROP AND IT EXPLODES INTO A MILLION PEICES. Made of a very cheep brittle plastic. Granted I am in Colorado in the winter so that may contribute to the brittle nature... Good deal for the price.

I was very happy with this purchase, its light weight, compact and the battery lasts long
