Howard 210493 STWL Grade 0000 Steel Wool 8Pk

Works as advertised. Did remove the stains and blemishes on our old table

I was working on staining the gashes that were in my kitchen cabinets. The can suggested using this for those type of problems and it did help. The Howard line has yielded great results, using the stain with the steel wool and then followed by the over wax. My 1970's cabinets have never looked better.

I have to say that this steel wool appears to be of very fine quality. On the other hand neither Howard's website or Amazon state how large the package is and they do not mention that these eight pads are about one-third the size of steel wool made by other companies. I have been involved in wood working on a semi-professional and professional basis for over 40 years. In all that time I have never seen or used steel wool pads that are this small and sold in such a tiny package. I was shocked. Next time I will be looking at other high quality brands.
