Frommer's EasyGuide to Washington D.C. 2015 (Easy Guides) Paperback – October 28, 2014

When my family went on a week long trip to Washington D.C. we were totally lost as too how to plan for activities and tours. When we ordered this book we were able to plan our entire trip around it. The reviews from the author are very in depth. What is included in the museums and tours are very descriptive and helped us rule out some of the ones we thought we would see and substituted for others. The directions for where things are located were spot on. This book even comes with a map that we would have been lost without. I highly recommend this book!!

This guide was very informative about things to do, places to eat, and places to stay, but one thing that wasn't mentioned a single time in the entire book?Mosquitoes. Apparently DC ranks third *in the entire country* for mosquitoes. It would've been good to know, so I could pack the usual anti-mosquito products. Instead, I was unprepared and pelted by mosquitoes.*scratch* Thanks for nothing. *scratch*

Great books. Maps are very handy, and the locations/descriptions are spot on. This is the second Frommer's I have purchased and used (the other being NYC), and I would recommend them to friends.

I bought this travel guide for my first trip to Washington, DC, and I was disappointed in how little relevant information is in it. The bed and breakfast that I booked for our stay isn't listed at all, and also many restaurants in our area weren't listed. I got a lot more information online and via the locals on places to eat and how to navigate the Metro. All in all, this was a waste of my money. Not recommended.

Excellent travel guide for D.C.! This town can be very overwhelming for first time tourists and the guide allowed me and my family to plan and keep up with all the spots we wanted to visit.
