It was easy to assemble. It is well engineered. It is strong and comfortable. The material is the poly wood like the Trex deck material but it seems to be much stronger and does not flex. It will never chip or peal because the color is made into the material. It has a wood grain surface. Feels very smooth and easy to clean.
