Works for Renaissance & Halloween
I bought this for my teen son to wear for an instant knight for the Renaissance festival as well as for his Halloween Plague Doctor costume, perfect for both. He is 5’7” average build and with ankle boots on it’s about an inch or 2 from grazing the ground. It’s lightweight (perfect here for South Texas) no arm holes just a cape with good if you choose to wear it up. My daughter who loves cosplay is going to steal it soon after I’m sure lol. For the price, you can’t beat it as it’s better quality then Walmart.

Good for wizard costume
This is a nicely made cape for a wizard. I bought it for my husband’s costume. The sellers claim it will fit everybody but my husband is over 6 feet tall 185 pounds and has broad shoulders so it’s a little bit small for him. However for a costume it will work fine.

Off color and different style
Not sure if they changed the product and kept the description but it's not what is advertised at all.The color is no where near close to wine red. This is Solo cup red. Maraschino cherry juice red. There is not even a hint of purple/maroon. Brighter than a candy apple red.Additionally, the tie does not match the image at all. Strings to close the neck are black, not yellow and are not quite as long as the picture makes it out to be.Gave it 2 stars cause it's not BAD if you need a very basic (NOT maroon, not wine red) cape and it has a decent length. Would have given it 3 but the edges of the cape aren't hemmed and looks like a thinner thread count than pictured.

Exceeded expectation, should hand wash
I wasn't expecting the quality to be as good as it is when I got it, but I'm very satisfied. The inside portion of the cloak is smooth and the outside is that velvety fabric. I'm a little short so it was a little long for me (5'4) and the hoodie draped over my eyes. I'm not too much of a fan of the little lacing around the top and I wish there was a clip to hold the cloak together versus a ribbon to tie but not a big deal, I still like it.It will stain/bleed into anything it's washed with so I recommend hand washing it.

Beautiful Cape! Great for Costume!
Cape was very pretty & great deal for the money! Picture shows how the cape ties; the yellow ‘string’ is sewn all the way around the inside of the neck so it won’t pull off when tying. Worked great!You can also see the edge is stitched so not to run.Purchased the wine color. Very rich color.I’m 5’6” and it drug the ground a tiny bit.Highly recommend. I would buy again.
