First off, I've installed quite a few security camera systems, and I can say with certainty that this is hands-down the best CCTV camera you'll find in this price range. PROS: -Large 0.37" CMOS sensor. Most cameras in this price range have a 1/4" or 1/3" sensor. This one is slightly larger th an 1/3" which allows for better color and better low-light sensitivity. -Vari-focal lens. This allows you to set both the zoom and the focus, as opposed to them both being fixed (usually at 3.6mm and a fairly narrow field of view). These are both manual adjustments and easy to get at even after the camera is installed (it also comes with a small tool for adjusting the pots, though a small flat-head screwdriver works fine as well). At its max, field of view appears to be just over 90 degrees. -4 output formats to choose from. While this is now standard on many cameras, this is the first camera I've tried where my DVR actually had no issues whatsoever decoding any of the 4 outputs. Easily selected by setting 2 dip switches. One is low resolution 960H, and the other 3 are 1080p, both digital and analog formats. Should be compatible with just about any DVR out there. -Build quality. VERY HEAVY DUTY. This thing has some weight. I suppose this could be a con if you want to install this on a ceiling tile with nothing supporting it from above, but that aside, consider me impressed. -Picture quality. Very sharp picture. Pretty good contrast ratio as well. -Easy installation and adjustment. The camera unscrews off the base fairly easily; the base is easy to mount (had 4 screw holes), and it goes back together easy as well and was very easy to move and get the exact angle and orientation I wanted. A novice should have no problem installing this camera. CONS: -Only con really is with the instruction manual. It makes reference to various internal camera settings driven by a menu which I was unable to figure out how to access. It also is useless for explaining how to install or make adjustments. Nevertheless, it should be pretty self-explanatory without the manual. OVERALL: Outperforms cameras that are twice the price. I like everything about it and this is now my go-to camera for hard-wired camera installations.

This STURDY dome camera with zoom & great focus adjustments combined with terrific resolution and 100' nighttime range and WIDE angle at 105 degrees, I've made this camera my primary choice out of 16 positions. The zoom is real smooth and the focus isn't too bad either. It seems to grab a sharp focus when close, but I know that's just my imagination. Very good though. Pretty easy compared to others, and not a bad range of adjustment, especially for a dome camera. I use the cheaper bullet ones when I don't need zoom, but don't like to give up any sharpness/color. This one is hard to beat and not too pricey certainly for what it gives you. Solid & hefty, too. No cheap plastic.

These worked out perfect for me even though I had cameras. All around my house, this extra. Edition was amazing for me and it stopped people from even looking towards my house. The night vision, perfect.The appearance matched with my house

Great items

One camera was ok picture. The second camera was kind of a cloudy image for the night IR for lack of a better description. Be careful what you intend to mount to if it is other than a flat surface. My outside eves have a gutter fascia board that would partially block the camera image. All in all an OK product. Not perfect. It had standard picture color during the day. Also my ruler measures this at 4 & 5/8 " across the base and 4 & 1/4 inches high with camera tilted in height. I have no idea where they got the dimensions shown on the Amazon web page. 12VDC power and no power plug included so be careful.

I bought this for my home security system. When a camera went out previously, I paid the person who installed it $250 to replace it. I felt like I was way overcharged. I am a handy person, so I researched what camera I would need and decided to purchase this one. It was not that difficult to install and this camera has a bit sharper picture. Great for the price.

The camera switched to a mirror image by itself on the 21st evening of operation. At daylight there was only green color, and the image was still reversed. My power supply and cable are good because my other cameras will work at the location. Upon notification of camera failure, the vendor sent a new camera to demonstrate and verify their confidence of their product quality. That is very impressive customer support. The camera arrived in only a few days, is installed and working perfectly on this first day of operation. I will update if necessary.

This camera works with my HD to USB capture device in all three HD modes (AHD, TVI, CVI). It replaces a similar looking SD camera I installed 10 years ago. Picture quality is good, particularly in the dark.

This was a great purchase, the build quality is much better than the carmea I replaced it with. Picture quality is great. Highly recommended.

DO NOT BUY .. THIS CAMERA WOULD NOT CONNECT KEPT COMING UP WITH INVALID CONNECTION AND WE HAD A REGISTERED EXPERIENCED CCTV CAMERA INSTALLER TO INSTALL. SO LUCKILY HE HAD A CAMERA AT HAND. AM ALSO DISGUSTED TO KNOW THAT THIS FAULTY CAMERA HAS TO BE RETURNED TO THE UNITED STATES .....IF I HAD KNOWN IT HAD ORIGINALLY COME FROM USA I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT CAMERA....... WITH THE RETURNS LABEL SUPPLIED THE NEAREST UPS DROP OFF IS MILES AWAY AND DESPITE RETURNS LABEL WOULD ONLY FEEL COMFORTABLE SENDING ITEM WITH A TRACKING SYSTEM KNOWING ITS GOT TO DESTINATION BUT THE COST IS MORE THAN ITEM ITSELF ..... SO WILL CANCEL RETURN ..... SOOO SOOO DISAPPOINTED AND AS I SAID DO NOT BUY
