There is a carbon fiber insert that you pay $70.00 for one insole ( which foot hurts worse). I need a rigid forefoot, for my big toes. This is rigid, perfect, has a deep heel cup, and a foam layer. At $25 a pair I get a set for each pair of shoes. Give them a try for many foot abnormalities, they will become your favorite.
