Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash 8.5 oz

This is a great wash for acne. It has 2% Salicylic acid which, for me, works the best of all the acne treatments out there. However, it can cause redness and dryness in some people, so it's best to not use it daily until you determine if you're sensitive to Salicylic acid. Although it's marketed as a body wash, it has the same concentration of Salicylic acid (2%) as the facial wash. Depending on what the price is, it can be a better value (less costly per ounce) than the facial wash. It has a pleasant, 'soapy' smell rather than a perfumy scent. The soap itself is thick, so you don't need to use much. While the generic and store brands can be cheaper, they are usually thinner, and you end up using more. This bottle lasts quite a long time for me.

This is a very nice Body Wash. I will add to this review after I have used it for awhile to let you know if it helps to keep Acne under control. I have been recently using Neutrogena’s Rapid Clear Treatment Pads with Salicylic Acid & have noticed a HUGE improvement on my facial T zone. The Body Wash has the same main ingredient so I’m hoping for good results with this product on my back. The Body wash has a very pleasing scent to it that isn’t overpowering at all. I’ve always had to stay away from scented products & have never been able to wear perfumes as the scent would turn on me & smell awful. Not the case with this product. If it gets rid of the blackheads on my back, I will be THRILLED!

This body wash does it's job! I usually get body acne when I sweat, and living in Phoenix that's simply hard to avoid! So I use this every other day in the shower and I've noticed a huge difference in acne on my back and chest. I haven't noticed any drying or anything. Will definitely repurchase!

This stuff seems to help with my back acne a bit, but I also love the smell of it. I don't know what kind of smell it is, and I imagine it would be unpleasant to some, but I think it's great. It is really thick though, so be careful not to use it up to quickly; it goes fast.

Esp for older skin..........helps remedy and prevent all those ugly lesions that appear on back, etc. Getting older has it's price! But this is helpful........get a long handled shower buffer thing, squeeze a little drop on it and scrub away! Try to let it sit for a few minutes while you wash the rest of you. :) Effectiveness takes time, tho.

I like the effect on skin when used and lathers great.

Too drying for my skin I only break out on my back. As a teen I used to break out on my face but just use water. It was meh

Our family really likes the neutrogena body wash. The scent is mild enough not to irritate. The product works great to reduce keratosis pilaris.

Was exciting about this product for my skin, been using for two months now and don’t really see a difference unfortunately but my skin is just a difficult skin type. Nice soap though, would buy again and results arrive.

Bought this to rid myself of back and shoulder acne but it has not done its magic yet. May be patience is key here or this simply is a body wash.

I bought this to treat a breakout of back acne and this worked great in fact it’s the only thing that worked. I would definitely recommend this product and would purchase it again if required. Scent and value for money is neutral neither good or bad.

No difference after using the product for more than 3 months. Used it everyday twice. The acne issues still persist and there is no changes.
