Excellent Look, Quality and Value For The Money!!
After spending a lot of time looking both online and in stores, I decided on this pot rack. After looking at and comparing the various aspects of several racks, this Innova model offered by Amazon made the most sense and was clearly the best buy for the money; all things considered. Simply put, there were units costing well over $100 or more, that really didn't offer much more (if anything) for the higher cost - some were even over $200+ !! And at just under 40 clams and super-fast, 3-day free shipping, I couldn't be more happy with my choice and the Ama-Zoney purchase experience. The rack is both well-built and spacious at 34" X 17". The finish is a smooth, satin black and the center grill is bright and shiny metal - which looks nice together. The hardware kit provides a generous 12 hooks to hang the cookware and 4 chains and ceiling hooks to allow for a stable, "rock-free/won't tip" installation - real important, as some units with 2 hooks & chains can easily tip if the weight of the hanging cookware is not closely balanced and even on both sides. This can easily happen if you needed to use 2 pieces of cookware that happened to be on the same side of the rack, leaving the opposite side considerably more heavy and the whole mess could tip over; dropping your nice cookware on the floor or somebody's unsuspecting head! So, be sure and use ALL 4 hooks and do it right!! Also, it is important to try and screw the ceiling hooks directly into the wood ceiling joists (beams) if possible, especially if you plan on loading this bad boy up with heavy cookware, like I did. If you're not going to, than just use the proper toggle bolts and you should be fine. But as always, screwing the hooks directly into the joists is clearly the most secure way to fasten anything that has to support any considerable weight. Also, try and mount the hooks, close to the same dimensions that are on the 4 holes in the rack - this also allows for both a "plumb" and more stable rack. I think the rack also looks nicer, when the chains hang plumb (completely vertical), as opposed to being "angled". On my particular installation, I was replacing an existing pot rack and there were already 4 holes in the ceiling that were screwed into the ceiling joists. So, to keep the install solid, I simply slid the 4 hooks/chains more towards the outside corners of the new rack to keep it as plumb and stable as possible, without the need to re-drill any new holes. I also added 4 lighting canopies from Home Depot ($5 each) to improve the kind of crude, unfinished look that black hooks alone offer. This allows for a smoother and more attractive transition from the chains to the ceiling - a real nice finishing touch that makes the unit look more elegant and expensive. I also spent the whopping 97 cents at Wal-Mart and spray-painted both the canopies and the chains a very similar black finish for a more consistent and matching appearance (see my photos). I added a tulip light kit to the pot rack to further enhance it's appearance and brighten up my stove and counter areas. (You can also add a black clip on, flexible light that I saw at Home Depot for about $9). I am totally pleased with the finished look I got for the money; after adding only a few inexpensive and easy personal tweaks of my own. This rack offers a great value for the money that most people would be completely pleased with. If you're more of the "style-over-substance" type, than you'll likely have to spend 4X-6X the coin to satisfy your taste. For me, this rack has both great functionality and looks more than good enough for the money. Enjoy life!

Excellent Product!!
As a Pampered Chef consultant, I too, am very concerned with keeping my non-stick cookware safe, and this is just the product for that! My 10 pc. set and 6 open stock peices ALL fit on this rack with ease! It has adjustable heights and is so very easy to install! I love that it can be put just about anywhere! It has sure cleaned out my cabinet space and now all my cookware is easily accessable! My lids hang on the hooks as well. I would like to have more hooks, but it comes with a lot. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a sturdy out of the way place to store any of their cookware and utensils, that still is fashionable. For the price, this can't be beat!! June 14, 2007 - Just a quick update. After all this time, my rack is still awesome! No rusting! No movement in the anchors! And I've added hooks and more pots! I now have the Executive Cookware and have 11 pots and pans and a set of Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls, and lids all on my rack! What a space saver!! I am so impressed with this item!! I bought one for my mom and both of my daughters!! I wish I could get extra hooks that match but you can get some similar at the hardware store. July 30, 2010 - Another quick update. I now have All Clad Stainless Steel Cookware that I've added to my rack! It is still in PERFECT condition and is still perfectly anchored! What a great buy!! I am recommending this product to every Pampered Chef consultant that I know. All my family members have one now! We love it!!

Great item at great value
After looking for a larger hanging rack for my new cookware, I found this item on Amazon. I was a little nervous, given the price difference between this and other hanging racks. But the reviews were positive so I took the chance. I have decided to add my comments to the list of positive reviews. I would ideally give this item a 4.5 rating. I think a hanging rack is ultimately to showcase the cookware and not itself. In that respect, this is a great rack, clean and unobtrusive. The hooks are very nice, pinched on the rack end to help keep them from lifting. The hanging hardware and chain was also unobtrusive and ready to install, at what seemed a perfect height for my kitchen. I did not use the supplied ceiling hooks because I needed toggle hooks to go into my plaster ceiling. My only (minor) negative comment is that the black metal oval bar piece is less heavy than my previous, circular ceiling rack. It just doesn't have that heavy, wrought bar quality. The flat metal is neither as thick or tall as other pot racks I have had and seen. However, it is more than sufficient and durable for all the pots I have on it. The triple ply looks great hanging from it. I highly recommend this rack for anyone who is trying to understand why most pot racks cost so dang much. This item has a great price and will make your cookware look great!

Great, affordable pot rack
I didn't look at a ton of pot racks, but this one seemed like a good deal. It comes with just about all the hardware you really need to install it (see note on installation below). It looks nice, has plenty of hooks, and seems sturdy. PROS: - clean lines, nice look - space and hooks for modest cooking needs (space for lids up top, hooks for pans, pots, and utensils below) - easy to install CONS: - the hooks that things hang from can get pushed up and off the rack as you lift off the pot or pan you want If you're looking for a hanging pot rack that's not too large, this is a great deal. NOTE on installation: As someone else pointed out, you have four points of attachment above, but you may not be able to find ceiling joists perfectly in line with these chains. I used a nicely milled 2x4s mounted perpendicular to the joist. I angle cut the ends to make them nice, then drilled two 3" screws through the 2x4 into the joists. Finally I mounted the pot rack to the 2x4s. Perfect!

Quick Iron Classicor Reivew
I purchased this as I was in need or more space in my small home, I looked at other hanging pot racks and they were upwards of $150.00. Since this is my first one I decided to go semi cheap on the price however I need something that can hold up. Amazon Prime has this for 35 free second day shipping. After I received it I looked it over and noticed the welds on the band aren't the best so you may want to pick up some JB Weld and put it on there after you have it up and installed. The factory rack comes with 12 hanging hooks which will hold a complete pot/pan set minus the Utensil's (as mine sit in a metal bin for them on the counter this isn't an issue for me). Amazon does sell extra hooks if you need them a s an add on with this purchase for a pack of 15 was $2.99 (buyer beware of quality and weight). The chain that comes with the rack is I believe a plastic composite NOT METAL, you may want to go to your local hard ware store and get metal as I know I will soon. But the chain that is provided is very long so if your ceiling is 7'10 or higher this rack is still usable for you. It does NOT come with anchors to the ceiling only i-bolt style hook screws, so if you don't have studs to hang it in you may need other hardware. The center metal rack just sits on top of 4 metal tabs so I don't recommend putting anything too heavy on it, however one pot and some lids should be more than fine. You could even add a wood wine bottle holder onto it if space is an issue for you as well. I give this 5 starts and not 4 even with the minor faults because it is SO cheap and for the price I can not complain. Overall I am happy with the initial installation and first look of the product, in 6 months I will update as per needed. -Side note I received it after 1 day! Saved me a trip to the local store Walmart had it at $36.00 and Target had it at $42.00, so if you require it same day check your local stores.

What a deal!
We were recently given a nice new set of pots and pans, and decided it would be fun to get a pot rack so we could show them off. When I first started looking for one, I was shocked at how much most of them cost! I thought, "It's just a piece of metal! How can it possibly be worth hundreds, or, in some cases, over a thousand dollars?!" When I saw this one, I have to admit, I was skeptical because it seemed to be so much less expensive than many of the other, very similar-looking racks. But since my budget was pretty modest, and the reviews seemed good, I decided to give it a try. I couldn't be happier! It's easy to install (took maybe 20 minutes, most of which was making sure it was going to line up straight), very sturdy (it safely holds up to 40 pounds, which is actually a whole lot of cookware), and adds a nice sense of style to my small kitchen, not to mention that it frees up a lot of space and looks great with my new cookware. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a pot rack but don't want to break the bank.

For the price, it is a great hanging pot rack.
It's not a fancy-pants pot rack for someone that has a designer kitchen, but it also didn't cost $600 either. This pot rack could even be a great fit for a small restaurant. For the price, it is a great pot rack for owners of a modest residential kitchen that don't feel the need to have to impress anyone. I didn't much care for the flashy chrome, brass, or copper plated units, so I opted for the plain black painted one (I'm not sure if it's powder coated or epoxy painted), and I may paint the chrome plated center grid and chains after I look at it for a while, we shall see. The chains and hooks are adequate, but I will likely get Cuisinart hooks, and make or buy some longer hooks if they can be found, so I can hang my pot's lids too. Over-all, this rack looks to be very utilitarian and serviceable, and it fits my needs of getting all (or at least most) of my pots out of the bottom cupboards to free up space for things that are now cluttering my limited counter space. I'd give this item more than 5 stars if I could, it is a huge bargain if you don't need to have a fancy one.

Just hanging around my kitchen!
I researched and deliberated over the hanging rack that would work for me and chose this one based on the reviews available at the time. I have had experience with other hanging pot racks, including much more expensive brands, custom made and wooden ones and had concerns. The most important thing with this pot rack was to get it installed directly into solid overhead joists to maximize the weight capacity and to avoid ceiling or other damage. A retired building contractor friend took care of that concern for me and for six months now, I have been enjoying my purchase daily. Having it has opened up kitchen storage space for other items and provided really convenient access to all of my most used stovetop cookware! I have an entire set of Calphalon pots and pans, some All-Clad, several copper pots, a couple of heavy woks, a half dozen fry pans and a couple of heavy cast iron skillets hanging from the rail, plus a large stainless steel roasting pan and rack sitting on top. Because I am short, my lids are stored elsewhere. The rack is solid, attractive and came with everything needed. I would have liked to order more of the same hooks, but they were not available at the time of my order, so I have acquired a couple sizes from Ikea and they work, but aren't quite as attractive as the originals. This rack is ample for a normal home kitchen, but is not large. Since it is attached to the ceiling at four points, it does not swing or sway very much and feels solid when lifting items on and off. Mine is black, but I understand that there is a stainless model, as well. I was very pleased with the price, especially compared to those available in local retail stores, and it arrived much faster than promised. I would definitely buy this product again and feel that it is a real asset to both the functionality and appearance of my kitchen.

Very nice rack ;)
I love this rack!! I was so sick of stacking pots and pans under the sink and after looking at this for a few weeks decided to get it. It looks GREAT and fits all my pots and pans. It is a sturdy construction. Will hold a lot of pots. The hooks are nice and thick and will not bend. There are lots of places to put more hooks.

Favorite
One of my favorite things in my kitchen. It free's up a lot cupboard space as I have a small kitchen with limited cupboards. Pots and Pans are accessible. You can add more hooks if you need. The only drawback is very tall people ( like my son ) may smack their head on long frying pans haha It doesn't affect me or most of my family. He has learnt to duck!

It is very nice looking
I absolutely love this pot rack. It was a good price and was easy to set up. It looks really nice hanging there. I have always wanted one and I am so glad I bought it. I was able to empty a cupboard and no longer have to stack my pots in the cupboard. I highly recommend this!
